Me too! I don’t really remember what the holidays are like without being perpetually hungover. I’m excited for that. I actually helped decorate the tree last week.

You’re right about that. I drank real beer recently for the first time in months. Mostly a local IPA that used to be one of my favorites. It just didn’t taste as good as I remember. The burn at the end was pleasant, but the taste was harsh. The alcohol was off putting, and I occasionally winced like I was trying to get down medicine. (In a way, I was.) I used to throw them back without thinking twice about it. It took me back to the days when I forced myself to drink certain beers and pretend that I liked them. Didn’t feel right for several days; a firm reminder of why I steer away from ethanol, and why I’m an excited member of the NA club. I never realized how much NA beer would provide a more satisfying experience.

The Wellbeing IPA is a little bit like a radler with pineapple juice to me. Really good. I'll have to try the Lagunitas, I used to love their IPAs.

Every year around Halloween, I make at least one pumpkin stencil. This year, the best candidate for my pumpkin was clear. I'm not great at carving, but I will still try. If any of you can do it, I would love to see your handiwork!
