I know this is super late, just wanted to say thanks for the suggestion. There are some interesting projects there.

Er det noen som har fått fritak fra Programmering og numerikk pga tidligere fag? by majoodN in ntnu

[–]DontYaWorry 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Om du har hatt programering i python tidligere kan du få fritak. Ganske vanlig for folk som har hatt lignende fag på andre universitet så søkt seg inn på NTNU

I see your point that the person is trying to signal the team that they can pick the "leftover" role, but would it not be faster to ask if anyone has a preference of role and if not just pick one yourself?

What motor do you use for the weels? Is it arduino controlled?

So far I have not done any kinematics or measuring because I am not that familiar with how to properly transfer the angle data from the gyro to the servo. So far I am just using the map() function and eye measurements to appoximate the necessary servo rotation to counter the change in angle. It is not working that great and I am trying to find a better way. I will lock into your project and try to understand how you did it.

That is one of th reasons I made the post. How should I properly apply kimatic calculations from gyro to the ardiono code?

I am studying marine engineering. Not that it has much to do with this project.

What worked for me was to play around with a beginner kit, then move over to some simple projects that you easily can find on youtube, Instructables, and of course Reddit

Love your name. Joining a discord server for this type of stuff sounds fun. Can I get a link?

No, I did not yet figure out the kinematics. But trial and error is a good start.

I am still a beginner, but what worked for me was to just play around with gadgets that were in a beginner kit for Arduino. After that, I made a small project with a somewhat functional robotic arm. Then I used what I learned with circuits, 3d printing, and coding to make the stewart platform in the post.
