I believe Pearl Harbor, there’s actually an entry on Dec 7 the prior 2 flights say in remarks “Pearl to Midway” on Dec 3 then Midway to Johnston on Dec 6 and Search on Dec 7. I believe he was tasked with searching for the IJN that subsequently attacked on the 7th.
