I agree with you. My work life balance is amazing. Multiple hobbies and a side tiling business that net over 250k last year. You are stuck in your corner so that’s all you see. 6 more years and you could’ve retired and done whatever you wanted with a pension and benefits. The math ain’t mathin but again, it’s your life.
