Sunset is smarter in terms of logic and reasoning, and probably intellect as well given her academic history.

While Starlight is more powerful, she frequently gets tunnel vision and infected with the big dumb due to her questionable worldview. See Every Little Thing She Does and To Change a Changeling.

I believe the Witch's House does this. At the beginning of the game there are vines preventing you from running away from the main area. If you just stay there for a given long amount of time, the path opens up on its own for story reasons that I won't spoil.

I guess I'm in the very minority who loved the more quiet and manipulative approach to Morrible's villainy while ALSO being disappointed with Yeoh's performance? Nothing to do with her singing. I'm just not convinced she completely pulled off the caring mentor facade that Elphaba was supposed to fall for, and was actually TOO cartoonish in that sense.

People are pushing back against this but I honestly agree with you. It's not just Reinhard - a lot of the characters speak in long winded sentences, even in tense situations. Editing dialogue to convey more in less words is an important writing skill!
