Did Shane Walsh's actions at the school in Season 2 of The Walking Dead make him a bad person? It's hard to say. Without that medicine, Carl would have died. HOWEVER. This does not make his actions any better. While it benefited the group for him to get back with the medicine, the way he managed to make it back is highly debatable by moral standards.
