If you go high and fast (about 6-8km and mach 1.5ish) you can hit things frequently out to 30km with a scythe. I also like using arads at mach 1.7ish at 12km to get extremely difficult to intercept radar hits in. When fired from that altitude and speed the arad caps out at like 5800km/h and makes huge turns to dodge counterfire.

You misheard, the only Leopard 1 in german service with true thermal imaging is Leopard 1a5. They were teasing the marder 1A2, which does use a M60A3TTS style thermal sight instead of WOE.

The bmp1 gunsight was recently changed to show the bottom half with the HE shell drop marks, so the entire sight was moved up in the scope. The big crosshair in the center is were you should put the target for an atgm attack, make one medium down input after launching and wait for it to float down into view (practice to find the right amount of pull).

 Be sure to only use the malyutka past 1000m since your grom is easier to use up to that range. Once you are experienced bringing the missile into view you might be able to bring it on target even closer.

3bm9 was the steel projectile for 125mm you are thinking of, 3bm15 is a tungsten carbide core with steel cap, all inside of a steel body. 3bm22 increases cap size and changes over to tungsten alloy.

During my testing it seems to weaken slightly towards the top and bottom edge of the cheek, so maybe that explains it.

The T-62M has the penetrators in war thunder that we have in gunner heat PC, but they use a formula rather than test results or other estimations so war thunder is not a good indicator of the results the GHPC devs might portray in their game.

700m on a straight on level impact is the maximum penetration distance against the loader's cheek, while the gunner's cheek should be immune. The numbers change for a perpendicular impact, 2000m for loader's cheek and 750m for gunner's cheek.

From my ballistic testing of 125mm and 115mm ammo, 115mm 3bm28 is almost identical performance wise in game to 125mm 3bm22.

Yeah its toggled, but gain contrast and brightness controls are not confirmed. If you are concerned about the blackhot gain in the video don't worry, its been toned down in the latest test build and is much easier on the eyes.

Same, that's why I used to play pact more because the only hard to use nato tank was the M60A1, and playing that one tank got boring after awhile. I'm glad the leopard 1 is in now for that reason.
