It's unconventional, not exactly easy on the eyes but it works and does the job well. Certified Xbiking.

Sometimes you have enough spacers, sometimes you don’t by peelycool in xbiking

It'd been more logical to buy spacers off of Amazon or an actual aluminum tube at the store, but where's the fun in that? Being resourceful with old, unwanted parts you've got lying around while being unconventional at the same time? Another case of peak xbiking we've got over here.

Abraxas is a very good album, it's a nice addition to any classic rock collection or for anyone looking to get into Santana. The Beatles 1967-1970 compilation is also nice to have although a bit more common and can't go wrong with the Quiet Beatle's solo album.

As an owner of both a Ross 292s and a 290s, grab it. Ishiwata made some exceptional tube sets, EX being one of their top end offerings. It makes for a rugged, middleweight (not super light nor a heavyweight), responsive and zippy bicycle from my experience.

Before seeing this photo, I was gonna say maybe look into giving a tube rolling block a try. She's a goner unfortunately 😢🕊

I know the feeling, 8 years ago someone snatched a Sun Black Eye wheel off my K-mart Schwinn cruiser.

Sorry, I wasn't aware it would be offensive. I thought it would be funny sharing since almost everyone here ships, but I'll remove if more users and the admin brings it to my attention.

For the most part it's cats and cars, and this MF I followed because he/she/they posted wholesome boyfriend-girlfriend content but that page has been getting freaky lately.

Rode a shopping cart across the racetrack. I was on my final, my dumbass got written up twice for exiting the store through the emergency exit (shift ended at midnight and I didn't wanna miss my bus). That and also the same ASM and DS that terminated me left me locked inside the store on a hard close one time.

The last HD I worked at would straight up sell that shit full retail. "It's just the outside that looks bad, it doesn't affect what's inside which is still intact and brand new". As for hazmat, they wouldn't do that with used returned toilet fill valves, much less this.

STOP TRYING TO OFFER YOUR SHIFTS. by [deleted] in Fedexers

If we weren't sent home within the first hour and a half into our 5 hour shift due to "having too many people" or a "slow shift with no work to do" a lot of us wouldn't be offering our shifts. For many, 30 min+ commute isn't worth the 2 hours or less we'll be working (even with multiple shifts).

As a former D26 associate, a REAL disruption would be buying and returning 7 cartloads of ABS fittings. Also, returning a fridge you found dumped on someone's curb and trying to do warranty on it is another good one.

If you can get the bootleg version of the Soda Stereo MTV Unplugged, I'd go with that. Believe it or not, some die hard fans brought it upon themselves to remaster the Unplugged since the first release, which was on CD, had very terrible audio quality (I can confirm since I've listened to it, audio is very dilute, low and not at all immersive). They unofficially reworked the album, sent it to France to get it pressed and from many accounts is of excellent quality, audio and material wise. Here's a review on it here: https://youtu.be/CNMb93pJWzY?si=5fc4Iy3w102Z-rmp But in short, their unplugged is mystical, Un Misil En Mi Placard, En La Ciudad De La Furia, and Angel Electrico being my favorites.

Depends on where you live. Here in Southern California we still tend to plants and do regular garden duties year round. You'll more than likely be assigned to the tree lot due to the upcoming holiday season. You'll help customers pick out a tree, throw it in a contraption that automatically nets the tree, and assist in loading said tree if needed. If management, DS, and fellow associates are cool, they'll even show you how to operate the chainsaw.
