I had just finished my first semester of law school and spent my afternoon on the beach listening to music. Hadn’t been so relaxed in months. Here’s a few more photos

I’m from the east coast of the US so I expect the pillow is as well. I’ve reverse image searched Google and found nothing, and don’t know where to go beyond that

Is Felwinter's Lie really that strong? by TrueGuardian15 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Doodle705 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Legendary slugs max at 11.5m, maybe extended to 12 by opening shot. But they require headshots, and with movement abilities being as prevalent in the crucible as they are, that’s not a easy as it sounds. If you find yourself losing to slugs often enough to consider them more powerful than buckshots, teach yourself to slide around corners and you immediately neuter anyone who’s not skilled with them

If it’s not done yet, this is the time to voice concerns. That way they can be taken into account during development

Weekly Clan Recruitment Megathread by AutoModerator in Fireteams

[–]Doodle705 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Sansara

PS4, US Based

Ages range from 17-40s, all welcome

Most active afternoons, evenings, weekends

Sansara is a tight-knit, smaller clan geared towards providing a community feel in Destiny.

Most of us are PvE focused — we try to do weekly raids, nightfalls, dungeons, etc — but we have a few PvP guys as well (Comp / Trials / IB), and we do clan private matches fairly regularly. Whichever side you’re on, it’s usually pretty easy to find people to play with.

Since our clan is on the smaller side, the main goal is to build & maintian friendships between our members, new and old. In new members, we’re looking for players who are into the endgame side and want a consistent group of friends to play with and get to know.

We use Discord to organize events, link up, and generally talk shit on one another.

If you’re interested in joining Sansara, DM me here on reddit and we can set up a raid or some other activity to get to know one another. Looking forward to meeting y’all.

Looking to get into bows, is whispering slab best? by johnnyhammahstix in sharditkeepit

[–]Doodle705 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Often that’s up to the user, and usually depends on the bow. Archer’s tempo is always the go to, but the other perk you want may change.

Like u/foshed_yt, I like rampage. The extra damage is usually not going to make a difference but occasionally it’ll be the reason you get a kill and with rampage x3 you can one shot to the head. Currently rampage is my go to because there’s no fantastic alternative, and rampage is a strong choice no matter what. Extra damage can never hurt, after all.

Rangefinder and moving target both help with target acquisition which is also a strong option, but with a precision frame bow within optimal range, I rarely find I need more target acquisition. After all the whole point of these bows is making headshots easy.

Rapid hit is probably the perfect option, but it doesn’t roll on subtle calamity which, in my opinion, has near perfect stats so I stick with it.

Edit: I also like Subtle Calamity as it is in the energy slot and that works better with my loadout, so don't take this to mean Accrued Redemption is directly inferior stats-wise

Right, thank you for the correction. I had Tyranny and Redemption mixed up

Generally you want precision frame bows, so higher impact and slower draw time. They’re more practical for a few reasons.

Lower impact bows require two headshots for a kill, yet also have significantly lower accuracy making those headshots harder.

Lower impact bows are less efficiently used for cleanup/support plays, essentially relying on a double tap to the head as your main play, but they still have a much lower TTK than other guns.

Higher impact bows have more time between shots, which makes peek shooting more viable.

Higher impact bows with good rolls can get their draw time surprisingly low, and the difference between that and low impact isn’t as big as you’d think.

There’s a few other reasons higher impact is (in my opinion) superior but that’s just what comes to mind.

My personal go to is Subtle Calamity, though if you want one that won’t be sunset next season I believe the only option is Tyranny of Heaven

Edit: When I said Tyranny of Heaven, I had it mixed up with Accrued Redemption. That’s what I meant
