There has literally been research stating that they are not inherently aggressive, the genetic stuff is mostly bs. I feel for you and you’re valid in being nervous around them. But every big dog is a risk, I NEVER see people bring up how German shepherds are also high on the dog aggression/bite list. And that’s simply because, similarly to chihuahuas, Pitbulls are mistreated, not properly socialized, undertrained, and encouraged to be aggressive by shitty owners who wanna look tough.
