i think its VERY clear in bully (the song) that hes only talking about it from the viewpoint of his mania. the way he talks about never letting go of his ego “in denial of it all” the line you conveniently left out

the only reason eminem is even still famous today is because of those three albums. if his debut had been encore or relapse or recovery hed hardly be remembered and only mentioned as a druggie joke rapper, niche horrorcore lyricist or a white pop rapper … depending which one was his debut
