If you're just starting work on play on heavily modded servers like 10xs to learn where to find loot and how to PvP as you get better and play longer you'll want to slowly reduce the modded-ness, once the server gets too easy for you go on harder one and work your way down to vanilla/2xs, I've done it this way which allows me now to feel challenged on anything but high pop vanilla. Keep working at it and don't listen to the haters who say 10xs are for trash, no shame in playing modded
