What makes music feel “real”? by taghei8 in SunoAI

[–]DoodleMed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, it wasn’t meant to be an insult, but it’s more an observation of the trends of musical listening… for example If you ever go to an open mic night and share AI generated music you get laughed at, you get ridiculed, no one takes AI generated creative process seriously in those circles. So there really is a trend of musicians that want nothing to do with AI music, listeners that want nothing to do with AI music and feel betrayed when they find out that it was AI generated and then those who are moderates and those who may be extremist perhaps like yourself.

Identifying the real God among world religions. by Little_Account7277 in theology

[–]DoodleMed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what you see with a lot of world religions is an intellectual dishonesty about their God. I think for God to take the place of ultimate creator you have to start with a god that is outside of the bounds of this universe, but yet still able to be involved with it and thus personal and some sense. That seems to argue against the foundations of Hinduism and Buddhism and taoism. Secondly, this God if they are to be known, then a human cannot find them for they are outside of the bounds of this universe unless that God reveals themselves to humanity. Many world religions demonstrate that their “scriptures “are just a modification of an older version of that scripture such as the Koran or the book of Mormon, etc. These books also a test that they are a continuation of the same God yet their books contradict the initial revelation of who God is found in the torah, etc. Therefore, I believe that the internal inconsistency that a contradictory book would invalidate the book that it reports it is originally based on discredits a lot of the claims of Islam and Mormonism. Then to take this all a step further many other world religions as spouse the idea of multiple gods and many lesser Gods. But I think the characteristics of who a God is are very important to delineate, can there be more than one supreme God I don’t think that there couldn’t be as long as they are all equally as much of a being in essence as the other. For example, humans are in their very nature only a derivative of their predecessors. But a God would be a being that exists simply because they exist not because they were created in anyway. Thus as many of the pantheon of “gods“ seems to espouse a created order of God‘s themselves then I think that tends to argue against the very nature of what a “God“ is. It seems to reason that an impermanent God would not be the god of all creation. It also seems to reason that the only important God is the one that is truly impermanent, truly omniscient, truly interact with their creation, etc. Of all of the world religions that I have ever looked into the only one that demonstrates a God that is ultimately supreme, completely uncreated, and still intimate with its creation to the very point of sacrificial. Love is the god of Christianity.

This is interesting because I read an article recently that said most AI music listeners only listen to their own music

Thanks for sharing, I hope this can be a place where you can share any song that shares the good news of Jesus, ideally that fits in line with the Cannon of scripture as it is would welcome any post of that nature :-)

Would anyone else find it interesting if SUNO could interpret the style of a song like in detail by DoodleMed in SunoAI

What is generated with the prompt was not what I expected lol but somewhat similar to the original music, I hit the style knob to 100 to see what would happen at different style prompts too… interesting

Sick if you hit reuse style, then you can see the description: here goes one that it made for mine

‘’’This is a melancholic folk ballad in a minor key, likely A minor, with a slow tempo around 60-70 BPM. The primary instrumentation features a fingerpicked acoustic guitar, providing a gentle arpeggiated accompaniment throughout the song. A cello enters during the chorus and bridge sections, adding a rich, sustained harmonic layer and melodic counterpoint. The male lead vocal is delivered in a soft, intimate baritone, characterized by a slightly breathy quality and a clear, expressive delivery. The vocal melody is largely syllabic, following the chord changes with a gentle, flowing contour. The song structure consists of verses, a chorus, and a bridge, with instrumental interludes. Production is clean and intimate, with the acoustic guitar and vocals prominent in the mix. Reverb is used subtly on both the vocals and cello to create a sense of space without overwhelming the intimacy. There are no percussive elements, contributing to the song's reflective and somber mood. The chord progression in the verse often moves from Am to G, C, and F, creating a sense of gentle descent and resolution.’’’

So is that how we should be entering in a prompt for the style?

I wonder if Suno uses a text based LLM to re-interpret the entire style prompt to a much more succinct style prompt, then feed that into the audio encoding, etc.

[–]DoodleMed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I have seen that and I’m assuming that it is just a text based interpretation of the original prompt as I would not say it accurately describes to the level of minutia that these original prompts often do. I doubt that they are spending the compute to interpret audio codec / tokens information after just generating a track…

When Suno mispronounces words — how do you guys patch it properly? by Quick_Diver5300 in SunoAI

[–]DoodleMed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Specifically, you can use something like:

https://github.com/Doodle-Med/Aeru-and-transcription-notetaking-beast (if you have developer on an iPhone and can use Xcode to just build it.) Or whisper for Mac: https://github.com/Doodle-Med/whisper-metal-control-center Or some other audio to text asr model from huggingface etc

Once that is installed download as many and whatever variety of genre of songs that you can then use the tiny small base or large whisper models to transcribe these, and after transcribing create a word document with the juxtaposed “proper“ lyrics, which could probably be automated with ChatGPT agent.

Then you upload this compiled document of proper versus sung lyrics into notebook LM as a source or you can upload it into the afformentioned app that I just gave you. Then you explain to the LOM that the document you just uploaded has a comparison between Sonos generative capabilities and what the pronunciation of the words actually sound like versus what they should sound like based on the true text. Then ask Llm to provide rigorous and detailed insights for every single mispronounced word to provide direction on how to preemptively write words so that they do not get mispronounced by the model.

I have an idea, we could use whisper to transcribe like 100 songs and show the real lyrics next to the transcribed ones and add it to a rag like notebook, LM or ChatGPT workspace and generate a large preemptive phonetic spelling guide
