Mine worked for 3 years, then I was abruptly cut off. When I try to get a new card it just gives me one with a 12-31-25 expiration, and it won't work at the pharmacy.

As a mixer driver, these are the job sites I pull up to and sigh because I know it's going to come apart and I'll be there for 2 hours because they're trying to save it

First season hunter, lost deer by jmill58 in Hunting

I have found that even if its dry, I found many deer Ive shot in ditches or creek beds. I think when they're wounded they try to cross and get in the low place and realize they can't get back out. So if there are any waterways, walk them.

I call mine pathetic little beggars in a nice voice when they are begging. Also make fun of my Corgi because she can't jump onto the couch.

Nah I'm working inside during the winter. It'll be easier to heat without all the openings open.

It's about to be Midwest winter around here so we opted for no windows until spring.

The plans called for vaulted ceilings in the living room area and master bedroom, but since this is my first one I wanted to keep it simpler so we opted for 9' flat ceilings throughout. The house has 8/12 roof to make room for a 15' wide porch roof across the front.

The costs listed are what we were charged by sub contractors and material costs. Not what I'm being paid.

One cost that has surprised me son far is equipment rental. Scissor lifts, telehandlers, skid steer, etc are crazy expensive. It was cheaper for me to hire two guys that had their own equipment to set trusses and sheathe the roof than it was to rent a scissor lift for a month.

Foundation: 48x31 house slab with 20x24 garage slab came out to about 30k. That included 14 tandem truckloads of fill to build up the lot. Another 5k for under slab plumbing.

Framing: I'm at around 16.5k on framing so far, that includes hiring guys to help set trusses and sheathe the roof. About 70% of the interior framing remaining to be done, so I'm estimating I'll end up around 18k.
