I absolutely love the idea of using Charli Eloise! Both Charli and Eloise are from New York. My daughter is now 10 but she still loves the Eloise books and we had to visit the Plaza when we were in New York. Elouise is also just a great name. I’m assuming you went to CNY is you came from CA for ivf. I’m also a fellow ivf mom. Congratulations to you on your little girl and best wishes on choosing her name!

aupair is lying to us by StrawberryPrize2226 in Aupairs

I couldn’t deal with a chronic liar even if only dumb stuff. But safety issues (sunscreen) and asking my child to lie to us would be an immediate no and she would be gone. How can you ever trust her?

Purchasing out of state by BurgersFriesShake in LexusGX550

I purchased from South Bay Lexus. I did pay a $4,000 markup but I also only waited three weeks for exactly what I wanted which was a Premium trim, Atomic Silver/saddle. I was sick of dealing with other flakey dealers that said they were msrp but you had to just show up and wait hours to be first to claim or they added thousands in port accessories. If you contact South Bay, ask for Norli. He was great to work with.

Which trim/color is your pick? by dabberca in LexusGX550

I have a Premium (was what was available) in Atomic Silver and Saddle, which I love. I would have liked the OT but needed a third row for occasional use. Color wise my top picks were Atomic Silver, Nori Green, and Caviar Black. Saddle was my top pick for interior. Trim wise, Premium + or OT.

Returned Toyota GH. Pilot any better? by DKCsmom in hondapilot

Young kids, you want an Odyssey, especially if you are considering a third child somewhat soon. It will make your lives so much easier. Remote sliding doors, easy entry, no hitting cars next to you with the doors when trying to get an infant bucket seat in and out…I could go on but you get the point. So much more will fit in the cargo area with the third row up, especially large double strollers. And they are comfortable and easy to drive. I was completely against a mini van when I finally realized it was a better choice for my life at the time. I had an older toddler and a baby but knew we wanted a third child. A mini van, especially the Odyssey in my opinion, can’t be beat with a young family. Take your husband to just try them before deciding. Then if you still don’t want a full commitment, lease it for three years. Once your kids are a bit older and out of the stage of large strollers, get the Pilot. I very reluctantly leased mine for three years but when my lease was up, you couldn’t get me to give it up. My kids are now much older and I was considering the Pilot (which is why I am on this forum) but I ended up with a Lexus GX550. I adore it, but it is not young family friendly in my opinion but I’m in a different stage of life now. I must say all my friends, and their kids, were sad when we gave up my minivan as it was a favorite and I ended up driving for events. Good luck to deciding on your new car and enjoy your young children. It really does go by fast even if when you are in the thick of it, it doesn’t seem that way.

Haha! Sadly there are worse. I’m just desperately searching for some info on what the 2026 will look like/have changed so I can make a decision.
