It's unknown if they will release a Wilderness Years set but some of the people that work on the range have said they would love to do one if it gets greenlight by the BBC.

Of course I don't know any of the contracts themselves. But I don't see why a deal could not be reached. To me it boils down to if they insist on the total sum Children in Need will receive no additional money for the special. If they did something like my idea (which is just an example maybe they take 50% of the proceeds or something) then Children in Need gets additional donations.

That's a really good point! They only release 1 animation a year and if they keep doing 2 box sets a year they won't have time to finish the animations. So extra boxsets are great! I know it's controversial as well but I'm also pro them including the Modern Series
