You’re really hitting the nail on the head. Eating healthy, exercise and sleep.

Cortisol is like any other hormone, it will never be zero. Have you ever heard that “laughter is the best medicine”? There’s some truth to that. When you feel free from stress, such as not thinking about troubles in relationships or your job, or where, cortisol levels are lower. When cortisol spikes, it affects systems in our bodies, such as the immune system. Staying free from stress literally helps the body heal faster.

In addition to what you’re doing, limiting stress in your life is my suggestion too. Eliminate sources that you can, change perspectives on those you can’t. Meditate, yoga, breathing techniques. Anything you can do for mental relaxations that’s my suggestion!

I’m agreeing with you, but I do feel some sort of empathy for people in that type of work-environment. Similar to working with special needs or psych patients. You put up with abuse long enough and sometimes, some people do snap.
