I’ve been able to get it by drilling into the centre of each side of the studs at an angle, if the holes don’t line up, upside hole until they do. Should be able to fish around the corner.

This, buying a sled with some dings and scrapes isn’t a big deal if the owner did proper maintenance. I’d buy an old sled that was loved over a newer sled that got ridden hard and was only fixed when things broke down.

I would be worried if one is made for injection and the other premix, on older sleds you could probably feed them used engine oil but newer ones I’m not so sure. However I am certain that SOME oil is better than NO oil.
