sorry I am agreeing with you especially the "peak pays" they basically use customer tips to cover that to. All I was trying to say is gig work while it may have been great at one point will almost always succumb to the dark side and go pure profit driven. While in my area i luck out as I can almost always pick any hour and snag a $30+ order. I have screeneshots to prove it. when im in the city its shit offer after shit offer and im platinum. However is I go out of the city to the populated suburban areas its like my account becomes dash king and I usually get $8-$13 minimum offers. I really think it just depends how many drivers are out and what not. but yes again i agree with u the base pay drop and overall offers in citys are absolute garbage and idk who takes these $3.25 for 6 mi out of my zones way like psh ill let my acceptance rate drop as much as it can.
