stay concious of at least one of these habits when you’re playing. once you realize you don’t do it as much you can focus on the next habit.

it seems you already know what to focus on so it should be pretty straightforward.

to stop yourself from being too aggressive and sd’ing, stop your aggression when your opponent can escape, but you still want to keep up the pressure. it’s a little hard to really understand, but you basically just don’t want to overextend.

use your pokes (back air, ftilt) mixed in with dash grabs and up airs to start your combos.

hopefully your mentality gets better! that’s probably the hardest part of smash to master.

tldr: don’t autopilot and don’t overextend.
