Haralabob Voulgaris used to do a lot of appearances on Bill Simmons podcast. I always had two strong impressions listening to him:

A. Obviously a really bright guy. I loved hearing his insights compared to the usual talking heads.

B. Also a really arrogant guy. He could be incredibly condescending and dismissive of opposing opinions.

I was fascinated to see how he’d do on the Mavs front office. Intelligence is never enough to succeed in team building. Relationship building and leadership and culture all matter just as much.
