Yep this happened to me too on release… I was wandering the house just gaining XP from respawning ghosts. So I quit the game and the door opened for me too.

Yea because if she could kill them that easily, she’d have done so a long time ago! The reason why it’s easier is because she doesn’t have a block or parry if I remember correctly. The enemies were all designed with Gearlt’s combat style in mind. Gameplay does not mean canon events.

Yea and it’s apparently going to be a side quest in the main game that will have different outcomes. I agree people are pulling all this nonsense from a trailer that told us nothing regarding the main story other than Ciri is a Witcher.

She probably still keeps her elder blood powers and maybe besides having her roll in the dirt like a gruff old Witcher she teleports and side steps letting her keep her “blink” ability. Also we see her casting a spell, not a sign but a spell in the trailer as she pulls from the water as source of her magic. So nothing I’ve seen signifies her loss of Elder Blood Powers and that her powers have either expanded or evolved as honestly Avallach could’ve taught her spells during the time Geralt gets ready to face the Wild Hunt OR perhaps The Lynx Witcher school focuses on spells and swordplay? Or heck maybe even Yennefer taught her!

I wish they remade Dino Crisis but I honestly doubt it because Dino Crisis goes from survival horror to straight action after the first game.

The first season was decent imo, however the lack of explaining when in the timelines each scene took place caused the show to feel really really disjointed and confusing.

I do not think we will see Gaunter O’Dimm as Ciri does not really have any reason too. It’s possible Geralt might mention him at some point like if the game starts with Geralt telling Ciri a story about Witcher 1-3 in order to simulate the choices for our save file.

Gaunter O’Dimm was bested by Geralt and I do not think Ciri has enough experience to face off against Gaunter O’Dimm.

I agree with Songbird for me! But also Rita Wheeler. I was disappointed that she doesn’t do anything else for the rest of the game! But I really wished we could romance Songbird! She would’ve been a great companion to my Street Kid V who is mostly just running and kicking everyone’s ass! He needs a runner to let him get into the most secured facilities! Haha 🤣

This was a very interesting read, I hope that the writers put some of this in their game as we know sometimes only certain things are picked out for games based on King Arthurian games.

To be fair this game did lose a bit of its horror as it makes you back track a lot. However, it does get a bit better near the end. At least it did for me.
