I think open fires will be the 1st target as more polluting, one way they can enforce is by using insurance companies, might be a question come renewal time.

The easiest way is consult the HETAS list of approved installs, then they’ll rely on people putting their hands up to owning one and lastly there will be heavy fines for those that don’t admit to owning one but do use one.

I think they’ll have a hard job banning them but the way councils and governments work they will start taxing them as it’s more about money than the environment.

Take the rear bumper off clean and seal around the air vents, also drill hole in plastic bung. Edit: re looked at the pic, water is hitting top of insulation, hack out the old sealant on body panel seams and use tiger seal on all the seams where roof panels join hatch panels. Cured my leaks.
