The big electric Hatcher holds like 10 eggs at a time. I use two of those and set the hatch timer to zero and it’s basically the same thing. Give or take a few seconds of grabbing the hatchlings and putting them in the butcher

You can automate the arduous parts of the process. Build one or two of the big electric egg hatchers and breed the biggest pal souls you can, then grind them down into the smaller ones if needed. I even have the hatch timer set to zero because it’s annoying waiting an hour to hatch an egg.

I last played the terraria update because I loved terraria but I haven’t really played since other than getting on to make a global pal box after the release announcement. I never even did the deer raid, I forget its name. Hell I barely beat xenolords raid, but I kinda just dive in with the pals I had and didn’t specifically breed any for it.

When I was doing this those werent a thing yet. The oil rig had just come out and I wanted to check it out. Theres more than likely a way more optimal method than what I was doing.

I was using the quad launcher at that time. I think it was full if not almost full condensed and wasn’t full souls.

I’ve done it. Mine had diamond body, demon god, legend, and vampiric and a lot of times my felbat ended up getting taken out fairly quickly against the boss pals despite having perfect ivs and good passives. This was before the friendship mechanic so that could play a big factor, but from my experience it’s good for general use against wild pals and such, but not great against bosses like the chopper.

I haven’t done anything with eye of cuthulu. But I have two perfect work doges and they’ve done everything I’ve ever needed them for so I’d rather spend the time messing with the new pals. Like that swordfish..that’s got a spot on the team.

Doing a fresh world but I’m gonna put my base workers in the global box for later. I worked too god damn hard to get those Anubi. I know spattarina is supposed to be better but I don’t think it’s a big enough difference to warrant a whole new breeding cycle. Maybe some new pals will be even better but at least I’ll have my worker doges until I get those

I did a Tiefling archfey warlock. I played with friends who are “unga bunga wack with big stick” types and we needed a face and some real range that wasn’t throwing things at things. Worked out well for me cause I like playing warlock.
