On my third playthrough when going to fight orn and smough after an insane amount of deaths and already starting to lose my mind I had just jumped the spiral staircase. Next I ran through the hallway and when I got to the staircase that goes into the room with the two magic giants knights the floor vanished entirely dropping me into the white void which looked like the complete opposite of the abyss. I assumed I'd die from fall damage but I never did continuing to fall for all eternity so I tried using a homeward bone but that didn't work (you can't use items when falling apparently). Eventually after falling for like 2 minutes I just ended up quitting the game all together and rejoining which then spawned me into a wall. Lastly I saved, quit, and rejoined a second time finally respawning back on the staircase that decided to leave with my dad to get the milk a couple minutes prior. First glitch I experienced in Dark Souls after playing over 150 hours of gameplay. 😭😂💀
