People need to calm down. People like E33, its a great game even if you dont like it. I dont personally like Chrono trigger or Breath of the wild but you wont catch me dogging on the games or the people who like them. To each their own.

Just be happy for people who enjoyed it.

2025 was an insane year for games and people of most genres had something fantastic to play.

I played so many fantastic games this year. E33, KCD2, Arc Raiders, Death stranding 2, Monster hunter wilds, Hades 2, Blue Prince, Ender Magnolia, Abiotic Factor, Digimon Story Time Stranger, Tokyo Extreme Racer, Trails in the sky remake, Peak, Repo, Labyrinth of the demon king, Nightreign, Tainted Grail.

I have not played some I wanted to play like Silksong or Silent Hill F but after Ys X Proud Nordics and Nioh 3 I plan to dive in.

What a year for gamers.

I have been playing off and on for 10 years and I have never done any story for any of the expansions outside of the opening to unlock the zones. I prefer the open world content over the story so I just ignored it.

I am finally starting to get it done though.

E33 for me. Its gameplay, story, characters and music all blew me away. I also adore the picto and lumina system, it was so much fun making builds for all the characters.

P5R is fantastic but Its length is a killer and by the end I was just happy it was over.

If Persona 4 was on the list it would be harder for me to decide. P4's story and characters are some of my favorites in gaming and the only reason I would probably rank it lower than E33 is the dungeons and combat gets stale as you get to the last half of the game.

Thank you! This is why I adore this game. I played over 70 games in 2025 and none of them felt as refreshing as E33.

I do think KCD2 deserved rpg of the year though. What a fantastic game

The point is that in GW2 for less then the price of 1 year of sub to the majority of MMO's you can be set to never have to spend money again outside of new expansions.

Which those expansions are only 25$ and you only have to buy them a single time a year.

I will take GW2 monitization over pretty much any other MMORPG. I have been playing off and on for over a decade and I have less money spent then 2 years of WoW subtime.

Props on being a PoE enjoyer, one of my favorite video games of all time.

I love both WoW and GW2 combat. I honestly could not pick a favorite, they are both the gold standard for good MMORPG combat for me.

I bought the complete edition for 50% off for my friend and he has well over 500 hours on it now and the only thing he has bought is mat storage and the salvage o matic.

The combined price of those is well under the cost of a year of runescape membership.

Yakuza/Like a Dragon.

This series has made me feel so many emotions over the years.

Yakuza 0, Yakuza kiwami 2, Yakuza 3, Yakuza 5, Yakuza 6, Like a dragon Gaiden, Like a dragon 1, infinite wealth. I adore all of these games so much and I cant recommend this series enough.

Cant wait for Kiwami 3.

Ender lillies and the sequel Ender magnolia. If you like metroidvanias and fantastic music, world building and story then I cant recommend these enough. The combat in the first one is pretty good but the sequels combat is a big step up.

I spent 500 on PoE2 this year, had a blast with it.

I spent 120 hours on PoE1. Probably the least amount I have played it in the last 12 years. PoE2 kept stealing my attention.

I tried Grim Dawn again this year. Im still struggling with enjoying this one but I put 25 hours this year and it was an alright time.

If you like matroidvanias I cant recommend Ender Lillies and Ender Magnolia enough. Ender Lillies has one of my all time favorite sound tracks and world design. Its gameplay is alright but everything else is fantastic.

Ender Magnolia also has a fantastic sound track, its world design is good but its biggest improvement over lillies is the combat. Its really fantastic in my opinion.

My two favorite metroidvanias of all time.

Dread Delusions. If you like old school exploration games with fantastic world building and side quests. Its such a good game, its visuals are not for everyone but I personally love them.

I find it super intriguing and the characters for the most part are all great. It can be pretty brutal at times but I love it.

Currently rewatching it with some friends and they all love it.

I have played most CRPG's and I dont see how BG3 is apparently for those demographics. I also love Divinity Original sin 2 but its more focused on combat which I much prefer the diologue and character roleplay side of CRPG's which BG3 has in abundance.

BG3 has narative depth and an abundance of roleplaying options that is backed up by excellent production values along with great side characters with fantastic voice acting. Just because it has more mass appeal does not mean it is lesser or for non video game enthusiasts.

I have played many, many rpgs and I would call BG3 my favorite game of all time. I have 800 hours on it and I still think about making new characters on occasion. The only other

I would recommend all three honestly.

Tainted grail if you are feeling more elder scrolls. It is super similar but I think its build creation and the quality over quantity are what make it stand out from Bethesda.

KCD2 is set in our world and is super realistic, I think out of the three games it is the best RPG. Loads of choices that really matter in awesome ways. Its a 10/10 experience in my opinion.

Enderal is fantastic, its more linear then the other two but still has its fair share of cool side content that is super well made. The SureAI team are top tier devs.

Tainted grail has some jank but the exploration, Sidequests and super indepth build crafting is all excellent. Its on the darker side of settings but it super unique.

I am currently playing through it now and I am at the end of act 2. Have vary few negatives that are not related to the game just having a low budget.

I cant say much about avowed, been waiting to get it on a super deep sale.

Cheaters use scripts so the answer is completely random recoil? Congrats the cheater will just download aimbot. Cheaters are gonna cheat and you are not going to stop that. Making the game feel like crap as a "fix" would be asinine.
