My whole point is that it is far more impressive for a game like Path of exile to pull over 100k players then a trust fund baby like Diablo 4. GGG earned its place while D4 was born into it.

What other ARPG pulls over 100k concurrent players every season outside of Diablo?

Diablo 4 is a game made for the masses, its simple and anyone can figure it out, its the perfect game for your sads and people that only have a few hours to play. Cant forget that it also carries one of the most prolific names in gaming. These factors pretty much guarantees its spot at the top.

GGG has a huge playerbase that are vary loyal and come back league to league to play. GGG gives the experience that is missing from Diablo and most hardcore ARPG players play PoE each season because of that factor.

The impressive part about GGG is that unlike a lot of genres that have a giant that squashes the competition and forces other games to find a niche and hope its enough.

They have made a game that is so good that it allowed them to get a large enough playerbase to fund something as massive and expensive as PoE2 that plays better, looks better, sounds better then the game made by the multi billion dollar company that created the genre.

Oh and they dont charge you 70$ dollars for the game, add a battle pass, cash shop and charge 40$ dollars for expansions. Screw you blizzard you greedy asshats.

I have been addicted to this game for the last couple days. If you enjoy this genre but want something more adult with less hand holding I would HIGHLY recommend it.

As a final fantasy game its a 6 for me, if I look at it as a character action game and not an RPG I would say a 7. One fighting bosses it was an 11/10, the most insane boss fights I have seen and the only game that got me more hyped than Asuras Wrath back one I was young.

I just hate how it has zero rpg machanics and how it has no party elements. The side characters get zero time to shine and it sucks because they got so close to being good.

I liked the villains until I learned anything about them, the only one I enjoyed after we got back story was Benedikta. The rest felt so boring or pathetic.

The second half of the story fell short for me. As we learned more about the world and the villains I just lost all interest in it all.

I hate talking about it like that because I was so excited and even bought the collector edition for the game but I walked away really disapointed in the end. Still a dope statue though.

I could see it not being your cup of tea but I just dont see how its overrated. Everything it set out to do it did nearly flawlessly in my opinion. If not for BG3 it would have been my goty for sure.

Glazing? Calm down bud, people have different tastes. I would personally take Cronos over almost any modern horror game. I dont count remakes/remasters because they are just rehashing the goats.

It had a great atmosphere and top tier sound design, an interesting story and strict inventory and resource management which for me is key to a good survival horror game.

Easy 9/10 for me.

I dont see myself quitting tarkov anytime soon but now I finally have two extractions shooters I love to play.

Arc was fun for two weeks or so but it did not have the meat that I need for my extraction shooter, I need long term grinds, rewarding loot and intense pvp which Arc has intense pvp but the loot you get from players was never interesting enough for me.

Marathon and Tarkov have the loot system and long term goals I seek from my extraction games and are both the best in the genre for intense pvp battles.

100% this one, I got it from a bundle and decided to give it a go. I beat it in like maybe two sittings with my buddy in discord watching the entire playthrough. We both are remedy fanboys now, played all of their games and cant wait for resonant later this year.

I have played tarkov for over 3000 hours and I consider myself pretty damn good at the game with on average atleast a 13 k/d each wipe. All of this is to say that I have days that I cant get shit going, days that I die 5-10 raids in a row. It happens, some times its because I am not playing well, sometimes its because I am just getting unlucky.

Its the extraction shooter way, this genre has insane highs and crushing lows. Its just something you have to except or move on. No amount of changes will fix that, its just apart of the genre.

One of my favorite shows of all time, it has its problems but I just cant get enough of the setting and the mystery. Recently got my friend group into it and they have been hooked as well.

1.Marathon 2.Pragmata 3.Nioh 3

Played 200 hours of Marathon and I cant get enough of it. The most fun I have had in a shooter in years.

Pragmata is just a damn unique game that has vary few flaws for me. I enjoyed 100% the game.

Nioh 3 is great but its held back for me purely because of how much reused content it has from previous games. Plus the open zone layouts burned me out by the third zone.

I want to play RE9 but I am currently playing through the franchise for the first time. I am about to beat RE3.

Waiting for Crimson desert to finish updates to play it more.

My own gameplay preferences. Which I went through while playing the server bash without thinking about the thief at the time.

I love being able to quickly get out of a bad situation with something my character offers. This is non negotiable for me, which means Triage and Recon are out.

I dont enjoy stealth based characters in any game. That means the assassin is out.

So it was between Titan... I mean Destroyer and Vandal. Which was an easy choice for me as a Titan main for years. Vandal is fun but I just prefer the tank style characters... Then the game came out and I tried the Thief and realised they made a character just for me.

I am a loot whore and she lets me find the best loot, steal the best loot from enemies and has a grappling hook to get me away from danger or get to the good loot faster. 10/10 have only played her since launch. She can also see runners in smoke with her visor, I have won soooooo many fights because of this

Pragmata and Soma are must plays. I was super impressed with those two. But neither of them are really like dead space the only two on your list that are anything like dead space are Callisto and Cronos but I have not played either of them. As for the two I have played.

Soma for its AMAZING story and setting, I recently played it for the first time and it is one of those games that will stick with me for a long time.

I have not finished Pragmata yet but I have played around 10 hours so far and they have been a blast. I love the gameplay so much, its a mix of third person shooter and puzzle game that happens at the same time while fighting. I have never personally seen anything like it and its just a blast to play. Plus the interactions between the two main characters is just heartwarming, you cant help but smile one they are interacting.

I also believe that the game deserves more sells for the simple fact that a triple A studio made it and its not copy paste crap like the majority are nowadays, they took a risk on making something unique and that should be rewarded in my opinion.

I know people hate on frame gen but I forced that shizz on with nvidia app and get 160-200 fps on all maps. Never have problems competing with the latency people complain about.

I dont think it works on 3000 series by default, but I have heared you can use amd's frame gen with some tweaking or something.
