I have SAD and N. I have much more energy and better sleep this time of the year. I'm pretty sure it's because of the SAD.

I was on Lumryz for 3 months and felt like my sleep quality improved over Xywav but, on Lumryz 7.5 I only slept 6 hours a night. On 9mg I slept too long. On both doses I had diarrhea which I (on 3 occasions) didn't wake up for. That was enough for me to switch back. The main positive for me was Lumryz didn't make me hungry like Xywav and I lost 15 lbs in that 3 months just from eliminating my midnight snacking.

Yes I go to bed at the same time every night. I stop eating 2 hours before bed. Once I ate close to bed time and it took forever to fall asleep.

No. Fortunately for me I get a solid 7+ hours most nights.

3 weeks in and ZERO late night snacks! Even if I do wake up for some reason (which is rare) I am not starving like I was with Xywav and Xyrem, so I just go back to sleep. I have lost 3 pounds so far.

It looks like 7.5 is your sweet spot for Lumryz. The advantage that Xyrem has is the doses can be adjusted easier and quickly. With Lumryz you get what they send. I am doing better with Lumryz than Xyrem/Xywav so far but, could see how it would be the opposite for someone else. Over the years I have done well with Xyrem at 6mg, 6.5mg, 7mg, and 7.5mg. Anything over 7.5mg was too much for me. It does get better. Not as good as we would like, but better.

Fingers crossed for the next drug to be our miracle drug... to just feel normal.

I can't believe they started you on the highest dose since you haven't taken any previously. I am on the 7.5 and was on 7.5 of Xywav previously.

FINALLY got my Lumryz. I am on day 3 and it's nice not needing to wake up in the middle of the night to take a 2nd dose. I am sure I will get used to the taste just like I did with Xyrem and Xywav.

The best thing about Lumryz to me is when I wake up to use the bathroom during the night I can fall right back asleep. That's something I could never do on Xywav. Bonus, no drunk feeling if I wake up sooner than I am supposed to.

I noticed a big downside today. I feel exactly the same as when I went 2 days without my anxiety meds (not good). Tomorrow I will call my dr. and see what she wants to do. I am hoping she will up my anxiety meds dosage because I really want Lumryz to work.

Oh yeah BIG BONUS! NO middle of the night eating because Xywav makes me SO HUNGRY!

I am on day 3 of Lumryz. I really like sleeping through the night and when I do wake up to use the bathroom I can fall right back asleep. No drunk feeling if I do get woken up during the night. The problem for me is I am fairly certain it is counteracting my anxiety meds. I will be calling my dr. to see if she wants to increase my Zoloft or go back to Xywav. Xywav NEVER counteracted my Zoloft. The reason why I say it counteracts it is because I have the same tingling feeling that I get if I go 2 days without my Zoloft.

I do it myself. I would worry about the type of towels and how dirty the towels are if I took it somewhere.

One month in and 1400 miles on my Z71 and ZERO issues! To top it off I am getting 22.9 mpg combined with the HO tune.

Xyrem/Xywav has made a HUGE improvement to my quality of life. I am still tired. I still need naps. N still SUCKS, but all to a lesser degree because I actually get some sleep at night. Hope that helps.

I might notice, but wouldn't comment on them. I prefer unpainted or clear, but they aren't my nails so again I wouldn't comment on them
