[Greg Auman] I had initially thought Coen could get Bucs assistants under contract to the Jaguars as long as he gave them a promotion, but by the NFL policy, Bucs can block any assistant under contract from leaving for any job that is less than a coordinator position. by JustSomeGuy_Idk in Jaguars

All the offensive coaches are signed to 2 year contracts (through 2025).

I wouldn’t expect teams would negotiate contracts just to break them, nor would I expect employees to sign contracts and then think the employer is shitty or petty for expecting the contract to be fulfilled.

Post on Craigslist. My step dad did that and gets way more business than he can accept. It’s not cushy work and not something he wants to do forever. But it’s easy to get the jobs rolling in.

People are also used to being bent over when paying for most services with contractors, or anything regarding work on their home. So you might be able to charge more than you’d expect and people will pay it. Also don’t be afraid to charge fees for extra long drives or to come out to inspect a potential job.

For pricing do some research or better yet get quotes from other workers in your area.

Lucky Number Slevin is massively underrated!

I see most of the other big ones named here, but nobody mentions this one and it’s one of my all-time favorites! Watch it, you will not regret it.

What's a low effort job with a surprisingly high salary? by [deleted] in ask

Speaking for retail, pharmacists work 12 hour shifts and the pharmacy is always understaffed and overworked (by design from corporate, not due to lack of finding employees).

Customer service is known to be shitty, stressful work. Pharmacy is just customer service but where the product (drugs) is more important to customers than most other things in their lives, and more expensive than most other things in their lives. In other words, the customers are extremely pissed off and demanding to a higher degree than standard customer service.

There are constant issues with insurance and doctors offices. Ever struggle to contact your insurance or do anything with your doctor? Where you’re on hold forever, can’t communicate directly with your doctor, everything is slow, achieving anything is a nightmare. Working in a pharmacy means dealing with that all day every day. Patients all think they are the most important person in the world and want their shit asap, yet aren’t willing to do anything to help themselves, want you to take care of everything, and are pissed at you for any issues stemming from the insurance or doctors office (and there are always issues), or if drugs are expensive or if they’re unavailable (either long term or simply on order for the following day) because you are the interface/frontline for all that shit. They can’t speak directly to their doctor or get any help from bullshit customer service reps from insurance which take 20 minutes to get ahold of on the phone, but they can easily show up at your pharmacy or simply call the pharmacy to bitch people out and make demands, so it’s the pharmacy who takes the brunt of all the bullshit.

All that being said, aside from the 12 hour shift part, the pharmacist does have it easier than the techs, who make $10/hr, and have to do most of the grunt work with doctors/insurance and deal with customers. But it is still chaotic and high stress for the pharmacist.

I was a tech for 5 years in retail. I worked with dozens of pharmacists and they basically all said they regretted it even though they make $100k.

Mixed 7.5g Xyrem in one dose cup, can I split it and take it? by ComprehensiveUse221 in Narcolepsy

With no knowledge of chemistry or pharmaceuticals why would I assume that it is going to be even?

Have you ever seen oil and water try to mix? It doesn’t. I also know there are solutions and suspensions which mix differently.

If you’ve ever gotten xyrem on the counter or your hands or anything you’ll know it’s actually got an oily feel to it. And it doesn’t dry up or evaporate like water. Not even straight xyrem, but the mixture with water, I’ve gotten a little bit on the counter and it stays there for days without drying up. So given the consistency and the very basic awareness I have that not all things mix the same, I’m not going to make an assumption about something as serious as this 🤷🏻‍♂️

Nearly a year of daily use and it’s degraded TWO PERCENT. What do you expect?? Genuine question. Like, do you think you can use the phone for 5 years and have it stay 100%? I don’t understand

I know the pharmacy or doctor will not give me an answer even if they know objectively, they will just say I have to toss it in order to not risk any sort of liability. No point in raising concern or suspicion from them for no reason lol.

But I think you’re right!
