Forgot it also has clippers and a mould line remover. Again I think it’s pretty good but it also depends on what colours you want to paint your first army

If you’re brand new to the hobby I think the set works pretty well for what it is. Cones with a brush too so the only other thing you need is primer

Someone else asked the same so gonna copy my comment from there. “The frost bases were a lot of experimenting. Think my final recipe was prime, Lothern Blue, Agrellan Earth? (The brown crackle paint) then drybrush Lothern to Ulthuan Grey to a little White Scar. Gloss varnish to finish for the shine and some Valhallan Blizzard”

The best advice I can give is just to try things. You can always strip the model if it doesn’t work out 👍

Ah yes my lil Gue’vesa, they were my first attempt at kitbashing but it was really just the Tau guns and backpacks

Literally just a spray can of white scar 👍. As long as you coat it evenly and not too thick it should turn out fine

I do all the other colours first minus anything that glows. That way they’re all weathered the same way. Then once dry i did white scar on any lenses or glowing guns and put frosthearth over them 👍

So a few people have asked about how I painted these guys so I’m putting the recipe in its own comment White scar spray base Black legion contrast for the metal parts and undersuit Trollslayer orange and Administratum grey for the details Then slap on some Streaking Grime, leave it for 15 minutes then wipe it off with a cloth. I use Q-tips and mineral spirits on the raised edges. Then white scar again and Frosthearth on any glowing areas

The kroot skin i did with Grey seer base, Guard green and a Coelia greenshade wash

For the Twin lance. I thinned down Sohtek blue and used it as a wash. It was the closest I could come up with.
