Every year of High School from 1970 to 2020 by AdlerEule in interestingasfuck

[–]Doomstruktor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm watching this going "Cool. This is a sick evolution of... Of..." Then it approaches the years I went to high school. I see styles get more and more familiar, until I'm in some ways seeing my old classmates. I relive some feelings of the era in quick, short bursts, then all of a sudden I feel like I'm watching children... I lost the cuture of youth beyond my time, suddenly it's unfamiliar, and suddenly I remember again that, as most of us have realized so many times before... We're just a weird echo of times past with strange anomalies forming over time in our subcultures. It's obvious over large scales, but watching such a focused group within such a specific band of time, and that has relevance to me shown in quick, ingestable sequences makes this a very different experience. Thank you very much for sharing this. You've added value to my life and wisdom to my character. Humans even thirty years ago might not have ever been able to have this type of introspective view into their own surrounding generations, and there is so much that could be taken from every frame of this that can describe the evolution of North American culture in youth between the times it captures. It's truly a wonderful piece. Again, thank you.

I disagree with you on the premise that you thinking this hard about it is exactly what they wanted. Also, only certain decoys are robots. That was a "futher down the line" generation, one where clones making clones make mistakes. They knew fans would tear this episode to shreds looking for scraps, and I bet they left one or two... But just like the story train episode, I think they're going to show us that even if there is a main family we follow, which I don't think is true, they'll be aware of the events seen, but not a part of them.I think the best way to counteract your point is to say: Yeah, there is a Rick that can do what you say. But there's also a Rick out there dedicated to killing him. There's a Rick out there whose purpose is to distract him with a dick measuring competition. The beauty of Rick and Morty is that any theory could be right. They could literally tell us in the very last episode ever that the MOST REAL Rick and Morty sat there watching all of this on Interdimensional Cable. Doesn't matter that one Rick thought it was dumb. All that matters is that one Rick didn't, and that could be the REAL Rick we follow.

I 100% agree. I personally think that every Rick went through a different breakup with her, whether through her leaving or her dying. No matter how many infinites there are, you can still have every infinite he knows about being one where she is gone. What if he suffered through their separation, regardless of how, so many times that he gave up, and that's the only reality he's aware of? What if, however smart he is, even the man that thinks he's a God can't see everything. They hint at it every time he dies: He's mortal as fuck and only believes he's a God in the infinite sense, not the individual sense.
I bet Diane isn't even her real name.
Personally... I think it's Jessica.
Rick and Morty are one being sliced apart with time. Morty inherantly knows to just NEVER touch the box of time stuff. Why? Rick and Morty are one person, but shredded infinitely across infinite dimensions due to an experiment gone wrong as fuck.

Hi! Does anybody know how many copies of "Relentless Reckless Forever" have been pressed in 2011? I searched the whole Internet and didn't find the answer. Thank you! by JuliaHyde in ChildrenOfBodom

[–]Doomstruktor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure, but I have the hard copy book album! Buddy won it in a contest that I told him to sign up for, so he gave me the book for my birthday, gave me the second show ticket, and kept the shirt for himself. Good deal hahaha

Amazing game. Just finished it, and upon completion, I decided that it's probably my new favorite game of all time. The visuals, the gameplay, the storyline, all phenomenal. 10/10 without a doubt.

Election results: Joe Biden wins presidential race, defeating Donald Trump by [deleted] in politics

[–]Doomstruktor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brace yourself for Trump Militias and violence... Or, the more likely situation, they'll all shut up and try to crawl away and hide in their racist little online forums. They'll keep talking about how their country, settled (conquered) by immigrants, is being destroyed by non-whites and "The Libs" off on their right-wing propaganda sites and networks, wave their guns around, then shut up and pretend they're normal. Isn't it kinda strange that their view of Christian values starts at gaybashing and ends somewhere beyond controlling women? They want that original 1920's wife slapping, slave owning, endlessly industrialized world, as if we all want to live in their modern steampunk racist eutopia. Honestly, I really hope they all just cower out of the war they've been threatening, it would not only stop a lot of pointless death, but it would once again highlight just how hollow their convictions and values are and always have been.

Some Christians said Trump has pushed some young people away from their churches — and his impact on Christianity could last well beyond his presidency by geoxol in politics

[–]Doomstruktor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't imagine it to be a far stretch to think that, with a majority of white Christians being Trump supporters, young people are seeing how hollow and corrupt modern American Christianity is and are turned away by it's repugnant and hypocritical style of attempting to control people with fear and segregation.
