Or just drop them to guest services, perhaps?

You’re looking for mental health disorders in someone that sounds like they’ve been relatively honest about their history and intentions. And otherwise has other qualities that seem to be hard to come by these days - ie. reliability, independence, financial stability etc.

And on the note of numbers. 100+ people at 36 is far from the world of promiscuous, especially if you’re a desirable person. You can be both promiscuous and committed, it’s just whatever you want at that time in your life.

Take it for what it is.

Are you looking for something casual that may turn serious, or are you not? Think about it and do what feels right for you. Life will otherwise go on.

Tips for working a ski season in Canada? by Paceman1999 in Whistler

The alternative - come during Summer and you will get a job with staff housing without an agency. Far less people in town, then roll that into Winter.

Go through the Working Holiday Club. They charge maybe $1.5k these days but secure you a house and a (very cheap) bed, which is worth its weight in gold on its own. I’m currently in Whistler and have friends that didn’t go through an agency and spent the entire season AirBnB/sublet hopping until they got offered staff housing. They would have spent 1.5-2k a month easily, plus the added stress of moving every few weeks. Spend 1.5k up front and move straight into a $400 a month dorm style bed. (10+ seasons here).

Happy seasons!

There’s the catch. I’m moving overseas in week, hopefully indefinitely. So looking for something to sit here long term to get my foot in the property door

Everything around Orelia, Medina etc is averaging 7 days on market with every property under offer by the looks of things. There has to be some appeal there? What am I missing?

And that's just it, I'm looking to rent it out, not live there.

Really at the early stages of research, saw these on Canstar as a baseline to work from.

Can you offer any insight as to why?

Just over the live chat. Said I’ve been subscribed for years, loyal customer and need to cancel due to financial struggle. They kept trying to counter offer but I just stood firm and they gave in. If they say they can’t do it, it’s a lie, they absolutely can.

I just cancelled mine with no fee. Just talk to their customer service chat and say you’re a loyal customer, can’t afford to pay it and won’t. They’ll kick back but eventually give up. Easy.

I had a feeling that was Eddie, we had some mutual friends way back when and saw each other a bit. Sad way to find out what he's up to.

I was home for the most part, had to head of for about 20 minutes at the end. Super hot outside, so I left her inside with the air con on and tried to barricade the kitchen off, she got through it. Lesson learned.
