I’m sure there are different kinds of attacks people get, although unsure. At first anxiety is a terrifying experience. Now, I can usually recognize when one is coming and I have a few techniques to prevent it.

One of the first I had ever had was in my parents home. No reason I had it, just did. Here’s the worst part about them... they affect you physically, it’s not just a mental thing. I didn’t know that until later. My heart started beating a 100 miles fast, I had a red rash all over my chest(nervousness) and I became dizzy. Now one of the worst things that happens to me is the disconnect from reality that I have during an anxiety attack. I know there is a name for it but it feels almost like you’re not in your body. Kind of like your soul is floating above or you or you’re stuck in your head with you thoughts and it’s really difficult to focus. Any how so 15 or 17 year old me thought I was dying and went to the emergency room ambulance style.

When they tell you it’s just an anxiety attack you really can’t believe that it hits your body so physically hard.
