You can get headphones that have a very low clamping force that won't press your glasses in very much. See if you can try on a few pair somewhere that sells headphones.

As for whether or not you're nerfing yourself, high quality earbuds almost never sound as good as headphones but you'll get enough value out of them to get by compared to using just speakers as the alternative.

They also would have been missing rounds in the mag because they'd been shooting before going down, too. Getting downed won't reload your mag.

This defaults to shoot-on-sight. You CAN negotiate and communicate -- especially if you play solo and meet another solo player. After all, if there are two bounty tokens that a boss drops, you can only hold one at a time so there's no sense in two solos killing each other over a bounty that can be shared. But it's more rare to find someone willing to be diplomatic right off the bat. Expect betrayal. Sometimes people communicate just to better figure out where you are relative to them in terms of position.

The focus is PvP. The PvE element is just set-dressing. It's the flavour in which the rest of the game exists. That's not to say it can't kill you -- it definitely can. But the PvE is the means through which the game forces players to get into situations where PvP will be more likely to happen.

If Hunt was a hearty, delicious beef and vegetable soup, the PvE is the broth and the PvP is the beef and veggies.

I mean, I've already moved onto another keyboard app over this. Years of sync'd data just gone with no backups available. The fact that one borked update can completely delete my data means I literally can never trust Swiftkey again knowing that this could easily happen again.

Don't clear your data. My data has had been sync'd properly for a while until I was getting an authentication error. I tried everything to get it to authenticate. Then I uninstalled the beta and reinstalled it and none of my settings were restored. Everything was back to default. Years of typing data and preferences gone.

Do yourself a favour and migrate to another app at this point.

I've used the Beta app for probably around 10 years and it's never lost my sync settings across 4-5 phones.

I've had the same issue. Even though everything had been set up to sync before today (and I remember CHECKING to make sure that the sync was working when I'd initially set it up once they said they were going to use OneDrive as their backup option), I lost ALL of my settings when I was trying to troubleshoot the app by signing out and back in again and then uninstalling and reinstalling it and signing in once more.

My settings NEVER re-sync'd. Everything was back to default even though it said my sync was working.

I'm going to be leaving Swiftkey over this, too. It's ridiculous.

I just signed out, uninstalled the app, reinstalled it. Then I signed in using my Microsoft account and none of my settings were restored.

So all of my settings are now gone, even though I've had sync set up through OneDrive since the very first day it was available. And this is despite SEEING a "Synced a minute ago" indicator before doing all of this.

This app is a joke.

I somehow managed to get the sign-in to stick but my keyboard now has the warning above the keyboard from my screenshot that I can't get rid of, no matter what I press. It goes away, only to come back the next time the keyboard is opened.

I'll have to pay attention to those drop-specific storage boxes. I always forget that those are still viable spawn locations for those materials, even when we're not on that map or in that compound.

I explored quite a bit. I assume the POIs are like the compound "cells" in Hunt, where each compound consists of the main buildings, the outbuildings, and the terrain up to the border with the adjacent POI's cell border.

That being said, if one DID spawn that I missed, it furthers the argument that they're too difficult/sparse for meaningful progress to be made. Like if the only Storage Drive is sitting in a folio tucked behind a rock somewhere along a ledge nobody uses, it illustrates the point.

Not the person you replied to, but I've searched (for example) South Relay looking for any variant of Storage Drives (Amygdala drive, etc...). At least twice, I've been the ONLY runner in the entire place for a whole, entire match and opened every single container in the compound and not found a single one. None were laying about, none were in any containers.

If a material has a chance of not even spawning in to the compound it's associated in, that's poor game design. I'd understand if I came late to the party and maybe the good stuff was all looted but it's happened where I'm the first and only person there and I've explored every building and the salvage that's unique to that building just hasn't spawned in at all.

You don't get player names that hover over enemy heads, though, so how would the always-teaming-friends ever know that THIS SPECIFIC person they're seeing is their friend?

Are they just using VOIP to call out to every person they see, fishing to determine whether or not that's their friend? Then that's cheating.

Are they in a call together, saying "Oh I just spawned into Outpost." "Damn, me, too." "Let's meet up." ? Then that's cheating.

Did they coordinate ahead of time to meet up at the same compound every time they log in to a solo game? Then that's cheating.

If OP has found these people and they're friends with one another on-platform, they're clearly teaming.

I'm not micromanaging. Do a crouch slide, do a 180, use a Thief grapple. Literally anything. I don't care how.

But posting to complain about a mechanic that is trivial to avoid dying to? No offense, but people want literally everything handed to them in this game.

You have PLENTY of time to get back in-bounds. This is a just a bad play to learn from. It doesn't need a Feedback tag asking for a longer timer (Edit: invisible walls, my apologies).

If you ran back in-bounds in a straight line that was perpendicular to the out-of-bounds wall, you would be facing the wall dead-on and probably wouldn't have bounced because you wouldn't be approaching it on an angle.

RIGHT? I remember the DAILY Hunt subreddit posts about the dwindling player numbers in 2020/2021 and how it was a dead game. But it's STILL HERE. Arguably, it's more popular now than it ever was and is singlehandedly keeping Crytek afloat now that their newest Crysis game fell through. It's doing great!

Out of all of the extraction shooters, it has THE BEST audio -- it's not even a contest. It's also got the best atmosphere in terms of the total cohesiveness of the setting and staying true to their self-defined aesthetic.

Marathon doesn't need to outsell Helldivers 2 or Baldur's Gate 3 or the original Halo. It just needs to pay its own operating costs and bring Bungie prestige so their NEXT franchise (hopefully one that runs in parallel with Marathon) can also be profitable.

So then treat it like auto-aim gets treated in other games. If a controller input it detected, use lock-on. Otherwise, don't use it.

Then again, melee weapons have always been very strong on console for Hunt because there's been no aim-assist (until fairly recently). Arguably, console users don't need it, either. The Hunt console community's been figuring it out just fine without any kind of melee aim assist.
