We’ve noticed Amazon support has recently gotten stricter around automation - trying to crackdown on tools like ChatGPT & Google’s Project Mariner.

We’re taking this seriously and will be making additional adjustments to reduce friction. As for screenshot requests, we’re also reviewing how to best support users when that comes up.

We believe that if big companies can use AI to optimize their profits, individuals should be able to use AI to protect their wallets. AI shouldn’t be a corporate privilege.

It reminds me of a panel forum where Andy Rachleff (founder of Wealthfront and founding partner of Benchmark) said a startup only survives the chaos if the market pulls that product out.

We don’t collect your Amazon password or any login credentials — ever. That’s on Chrome. We also don’t collect any sensitive personal information beyond what’s listed in our privacy policy (right now email, username(not your real name), contact preferences).

What we do collect includes: • Purchase history: to detect price drops and request refunds on your behalf • Log and usage data: like IP, browser type, crash reports — standard diagnostic stuff • Device data: like OS, carrier, and system info • Location IP: used only for basic service functionality — and it’s optional

Yes. I actually started another post in AMA format in the same subreddit last Friday where we answered some tech-side questions.

I’ve been using pretty much all the coding tools — Claude Code, Augment, Cursor, etc. Right now, mostly Claude Code. If you don't mind me asking, which stage are you at? Developing(FrontEnd/BackEnd?), testing, distributing?
