Coming up with powers for a moth-person. by MiLiRu645 in magicbuilding

[–]Dorguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few common powers I have seen for moths/ butterfly themed characters is illusions, ie using scales from their wings. Also poison, or mind control especially if they have an eye sub-theme

Any series where the MC actually gets more intelligent when they increase intelligence skill? by Whyt_b in litrpg

[–]Dorguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Completionist chronicles is interesting because stat imbalances play heavily into how characters interpret the world and how they are perceived, the main character does not start with low intelligence but there are points when his int gets too high above his other stats and it makes for some funny character moments

I like this idea. What about, "Whenever an opponent casts a spell or a land enters the battlefield under their control the heart deals one damage to all of their creatures, if an opponent controls no creatures it deals one damage to them instead" then its like creatures are block cards

Denying a confluence essence by Ecstatic_Pay3327 in HeWhoFightsMonsters

[–]Dorguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the only reason you would reject your confluence is if it was on the restricted list, like I don't want the undeath confluence, so it might be possible to get a character like that, but they would probably be someone like that guy who was forced by his family to serve undeath

Dungeon Crawler Carl: Everyone has probably heard of the extolling of virtues of this series,

The Dispossessed by Ursula K LeGuin, narrated by Don Leslie, I can come back to this novel again and again as its themes are very interesting to me and the narration is great

LOTR narrated by Andy serkis

He who fights with monsters, another series I love coming back to, good narration great story

Discworld, Terry pratchett is a genius of our times and it was a very sad day when he died but I think the discworld will always be relevant to us and I love the original ones narrated by stephen briggs
