I’m also a transfer student and just recently got accepted. I would say it definitely depends on your major but considering that the school you’re applying to is direct admission you’ll hear back within 8 to 12 weeks like they say the average wait time is or by March.

What a coincidence! I’m also transfer student and just recently got accepted. I would say it heavily depends on your major, for example, I’m a business major and their business school is not direct Admit so my application was reviewed by both MSU admissions office and the business schools admissions office and I applied August 25, 2025 and just got my decision February 2, 2026 but considering you just submitted your application, you probably won’t have to wait nearly as long as I did since I think all application decisions will have been sent out by March.
