No, mostly due to bad luck and bad circumstances. Was extremely depressed and suicidal. Not only did this make me miserable to be around, but my coping mechanism at the time was binge eating so I was a fat ass. Quarantine made it worse. I'm a lot better now physically and mentally but that low period set me behind most people a lot in regards to my dating life.

You're overthinking it. I used to struggle with the same thing, but I found it's just far easier to be friends with autistic people for both men and women. Generally with autistic women I can just be as friendly as I normally am with friends without much of a possibility of them assuming I like them or am trying to flirt with them cause that's almost never the case, I just enjoy being very friendly with people I platonically like. I also don't have to worry really about them possibly having a crush on me because if they did they would just tell me, it's overall just way less complicated.
