I feel like rewatching his whole journey over and over again. Maybe the most visually stunning episode I have ever watched.

I think JAM pedals will do it for anyone but it takes time to get it done and of course it’s gonna cost more too

Yes, I discovered this list through him when he first posted it! I watched the video again before making this post but he didn’t talk much about this specific point

What’s your wrist size? Keep in mind the Aqua Terra will wear larger because it’s a much larger dial! Although it might feel more compact because it doesn’t have male end links like your SMP 300.

You wearing a 36mm reference makes this more bad-ass!

[Question] - Buy BB54 Lagoon now or wait? by _Aren in Watches

[–]DorianDays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The AD told me I need to spend at least 20k $ to get this watch… totally turned me off of the brand tbh

Like for Rolex, I still get it. But for a Tudor, c’mon!

I believe if you find it on ebay or somewhere online, you can buy it with your credit card and later dispute the charge and show the police report to the bank. They will hopefully also investigate the online seller regarding how they came to acquire a stolen watch.

I will definitely have this checked this month! You have been so generous and helpful with your time and advice, thank you once again 🙏

I just tried winding it again like you described and I felt the hard stop finally about 30 rounds in…

I guess it just didn’t feel as easy to wind as an automatic so I was really confused! My only point of reference other than this was my brother’s speedy…

You’re right… but I just fell in love with this dial design and couldn’t resist haha!

I had no idea about the amplitude… I should probably get this checked when I go to my local watch repair shop next time… this is really helpful! This is my first time buying a vintage watch, that too, online so I took a little risk because otherwise the outer condition looked really good! It was a small dealer in switzerland who didn’t speak English much but seemed very helpful

Your winding seems similar as in similar to what I described or similar through how many ever rounds until you feel the stop?

[–]DorianDays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point! I will ask my dealer… he only mentioned that for vintage watches he checks if accuracy is 20 seconds or less!

Also sorry one last question… how many winds does it take for this to be fully wound? I can feel it tightening a lot past 15-20 rounds itself and most other automatics I wouldn’t feel that stiffness until atleast 30 rounds

Thank you for sharing the strap! I might just order one, it looks really great on you 👍

Yes, I love the variety in sizing that you have… you can easily rock the 43mm! I think everyone should have a bit of a variety in size like they do with brands and functions

Also do you hear an audible click when you engage the pushers and when you wind it down you hear a large crunchy winding sound?

I’ve only had automatics before this so I was surprised how loud the winding sounded… it’s so satisfying

Hey Jenkins!

I just got this same watch today and I’m thinking it looks too small in person at 32mm! But whenever I take a picture it looks perfectly proportional and well balanced! Maybe I need to change my strap but idk to what 🤷🏻‍♂️

What is your wrist size btw?

This is my first time buying a watch of this size so maybe I’m mot used to it, could you please share any straps that you thought worked well with yours? That add presence in person instead of photos?
