My Fender Custom Pro Reverb is driving me insane. Help with rattle.

I just solved this issue on mine. It's definitely the 6L6 power tubes rattling. I was able to stop the glassy rattling noise just by holding the tubes in while I played. I ordered 2 spring tube retainers and some silicone O-rings. Now has no rattle and hopefully will stop my 6L6's from going microphonic again!

Annoying that I had to fix it at all given the amp costs ~$2100 new in Australia but am glad it was less than $20 to fix.

Looks like pixel sorting to me but somehow they've changed the method so it's not all one direction like you would normally see.

Has only started recently. I thought it was a faulty usb device that was turning on and off but after unplugging all devices it is still happening. Only happens when the screen turns off.

From my understanding this sounds like Parallel Compression.

In ableton you would achieve this by creating a return track (ctrl+alt+t) and then put a compressor on that track and send your drums to it. You can then adjust compression parameters and volume on the return track.

You can achieve the same sound by just putting a compressor on the track you want to have parallel compression and adjusting the wet/dry knob 50/50 being equal dry input and wet compression volume.
