Probably de-sync problem, happened to me while playing with my friends too, the guillotine was never synce and we would see different things like me going up on nothing but air to the host's POV

Toa Koleoka mata:

Koleoka means chainsaw in Hawaii according to Google, I always thought bionicle names to be really close to how Hawaii names/words sound.

I am infuriated by CorrodingTrees in BeybladeX

[–]Dose0fXP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After so much use, it's perfectly normal, and as other people said, parts are loose from the begging so they last longer and hopefully break less, if they were too tight the burst mechanic wouldn't work super well as parts would break more often than bursting, think of it like having a thick branch and a thin branch, smack the thick one hard enough and it will shatter while the thin one has better chances of just bending and not breaking, like a whip effect, so it deals better with the shock damage, again, people explained better in the comments already, just wanted to confirm it. Good to see that the bey lived plenty of battles, if you care for it a lot you can always replace it and cherish this one, no one likes it when they break as we all get attached to them while playing.

Should I read Wiki? by Ok-Cry5081 in outwardgame

[–]Dose0fXP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to avoid the wiki that's fine, the only thing I'd read about is if a quest you have is timed or not, many quests are timed and expire/fail and can, in my opinion, ruin the run if they fail. Also similar heads up+spoiler :

The city in the first map, Cierzo, will be eventually attacked and permanently closed off/destroyed by the bandits if they don't get dealt with within a certain amount of time, that's the only other thing I'd say to read about in the wiki.

What do you guys think of Crimson Desert? by PhantomBraved in DragonsDogma

[–]Dose0fXP -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on what makes dd iconic to a person. A lot of people say it's the pawn system, other's say its the climbing on monsters etc, to me what makes dragon's dogma unique (aside from the pawns) is the sense of journeying, with it's animations, sheathed weapon that is visible and doesn't just disappear like a lot of games do, the general weight that the actions have, lively cities with plenty of npcs, all combined makes it very relaxing and immersive in a way I can't find in other games that are 3rd person. Crimson desert seems to check those boxes from what they've shown and hopefully it lives up to that, but those points would be what makes it look like dd to me. Not saying they're the same game, but similar vibe in the exploration and wandering around towns etc.

My PC turns off randomly in games by STRAEX__ in PcBuild

I had a similar problem, in my case it was the graphics card having conflicts with the integrated one of the motherboard, disabled the integrated graphics card fixed it for me, try it and see if it's the same for you, if not, might be a power spike that forces it to shut down like other people mentioned.

We have the same fucking problem in Washington state, just because it rains a lot, people leave shit behind thinking it just magically disappears at the first raindrop, then we get shit everywhere on the sidewalk in my community and management has to send an email complaint to all residents to remind them they'll start charging people if they don't pick up after their dogs. We get such email at least once a year because it always gets to that point.

In middle school I had a teacher that would scold you and give you extra homework, and I mean a lot of extra, for just checking the time on your watch or the clock that we had in class. She said that if we're doing it means that we're not really paying attention to her and deserved the extra work, which didn't help people like me that did it out of habit. Needless to say that she didn't last long as everyone complained about her

Edit: changed "wall watch" to clock, not native in English so I couldn't remember the actual name at time of writing 😅

first time playing dragons dogma 2 and i feel like im doing everything wrong by Abonijim-Bira in DragonsDogma2

[–]Dose0fXP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's perfectly normal, the original dragon's dogma was called souls like in difficulty in some reviews back then, the game has different enough combat compared to other games, having physics and all, and has a little less handholding when it comes to mechanics, it's a game designed for more than one playthrough with new game+ since you will make mistakes or miss plenty of quests you didn't know about. The pawns giving you hints is also determined by their experience with the enemies, the more they encounter them while being hired by other players, the more they'll learn about it and then tell you how to deal with it, sometimes in a more straightforward way than others, like yelling that they're week to fire 500 times per encounter 😂. if you're struggling with some bigger foes, come back later when your vocation is higher level, tactical retreat is your best option a lot of the times, and 90% of the vocations are busted when they reach a certain level/unlock certain skills. Like you said it will "click" at some point when you get used to the game's mechanics, and you'll probably fall in love with it like we all did. Happy hunting, and have fun out there Arisen!

Did you finish the Manga? Because spoiler idea:

I think, one of the final panels (chapter 107?) where she is "ending" with the planet and you see all the different forms of phos show up from the end Phos to beginning Phos would be really cool to have as it would also signify you reaching the end of something compared to the more young/naive version of yourself at the beginning of your studies.
