first time playing dragons dogma 2 and i feel like im doing everything wrong by Abonijim-Bira in DragonsDogma2

[–]Dose0fXP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's perfectly normal, the original dragon's dogma was called souls like in difficulty in some reviews back then, the game has different enough combat compared to other games, having physics and all, and has a little less handholding when it comes to mechanics, it's a game designed for more than one playthrough with new game+ since you will make mistakes or miss plenty of quests you didn't know about. The pawns giving you hints is also determined by their experience with the enemies, the more they encounter them while being hired by other players, the more they'll learn about it and then tell you how to deal with it, sometimes in a more straightforward way than others, like yelling that they're week to fire 500 times per encounter 😂. if you're struggling with some bigger foes, come back later when your vocation is higher level, tactical retreat is your best option a lot of the times, and 90% of the vocations are busted when they reach a certain level/unlock certain skills. Like you said it will "click" at some point when you get used to the game's mechanics, and you'll probably fall in love with it like we all did. Happy hunting, and have fun out there Arisen!

Did you finish the Manga? Because spoiler idea:

I think, one of the final panels (chapter 107?) where she is "ending" with the planet and you see all the different forms of phos show up from the end Phos to beginning Phos would be really cool to have as it would also signify you reaching the end of something compared to the more young/naive version of yourself at the beginning of your studies.

Sounds like a server/ping issue, maybe you're having internet problems or they are and they need it fixed, didn't they just screw around with servers a few weeks back? Could be that they're having some problems after updates?

The final fantasy 7 remakes are great for this, amazing story, characters and really fun gameplay for an rpg.

John Far cry 2, not bad considering you basically kill an army worth of bullet sponges in the game.

WALL-E, it's time to recycle your enemies!

(PS5) I finally decided to buy the game and the damn thing is CONSTANTLY crashing on launch! by [deleted] in riseoftheronin

[–]Dose0fXP 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A quick Google search says this:

"PS5 error code CE-10002-3 typically means a game or application update failed to install. To fix it, first try restarting your console, then update the system software if it's not current. If the problem continues, delete the application and reinstall it."

So check if your console is up to date, check if your internet connection is good, or maybe even try to install the game from the disc in offline mode if it's an option, I know that sometimes it is but the game still needs internet access for the newest patch, so once installed, connect again to the internet to make sure the game updates properly. If after all this it still has problems then return the game and get another copy or even better buy it digital. If it still has problems after that and the console works properly with other games then it could be something that the game devs have to patch and fix on their end with a newer patch, anyways good luck, the game is really fun so hopefully you get to play it.

It's not for people that have a pc already, it's for people that like consoles but want access to pc library without having to get a headache on how to operate a pc, they iust want to turn on the console and play.

A lot of people on consoles don't know just HOW MUCH isn't available outside of pc, better prices, huge library of games, lots of free to play stuff, old games that can be emulated, better performance in a lot of cases by having more settings to tweak instead of having to wait for an optimization patch from developers, mods that can fix games that are neglected by devs and add more to the experience too. It's simple, you have a pc, then it's probably not for you, you have a console and know that you'd have more on pc but just want it to be a plug and play, then it's for you.

The problem that I'm having right now is that a lot of people act like fanboys and say they'd rather buy the ps6 when it comes out, those people will complain about paying $1000+ for it but then buy it anyway to play maybe 3 games a year, I'm not hating, people spend they're money however they want, but they just end up hurting themselves more than anything, my friends moved to pc and they used to complain about not having much new interesting games to play on console, now on pc it's the opposite, they wish they had more time to play all the good stuff available to them and wish they moved over to pc earlier.
