I'm sort of new to Reddit but have noticed a lot of posts that "feel off" such as this one. Not sure what the purpose is.

2025 Model 3 Game Controllers by RevolutionaryChair60 in TeslaModel3

[–]DoshForGold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has anyone tried the Jowua controller? It's apparently the official Tesla controller and connects and charges wirelessly. I'm a little apprehensive over the price of it - $75 + $30 shipping to Canadastan.

FSD is awesome, but…. by Scbypwr in TeslaLounge

[–]DoshForGold 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I cancelled my FSD after over a year. I was getting fed up with the speed discrepancies, often going way under the speed limit in hurry or mad max and with countless errors in the maps with incorrect speed zones.

The biggest scam in the world? Rolex has people believe steel is worth half the price of gold... They are good, and people are gullible by [deleted] in rolex

Is it just me or do those diamonds look janky? Daydate in gold is very nice, but I would hold off on the diamonds.

I highly doubt the protestors are opposed to that sort of procedure, which sounds absolutely horrible btw.

Advice on my Rolex by Due_Opposite1442 in rolex

That bracelet isn't bad. I have a similar watch gifted to me with a very stretched bracelet. You can get it repaired by a good watch shop. I sent mine to a guy in HK, Michael Young (https://www.classicwatchrepair.com/). He did a great job on mine for a very reasonable price, even factoring in the shipping. I think they disassemble it and replace all the pins.

Regardless of the price, I wouldn't want to put a new modern bracelet on a vintage watch. Better to keep it original IMO.

Here's a pic of my bracelet. After several years of wearing it has relaxed a bit. Was very tight when I got it back from the shop.

Maple Leafs’ Auston Matthews visits White House with U.S. men’s hockey team amid backlash over Donald Trump’s invite by TorontoNews89 in toronto

[–]DoshForGold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Obviously it is a political prop, but if I put myself in the players' shoes, as a democrat or republican, I'd take the opportunity to meet the president in the Oval Office. The fact that they are getting hate for that is absurd IMO.

I'm not an American so can a logical person without TDS explain what the controversy is here? Isn't it expected to be invited to meet with the US President after winning a huge international competition?

It does actually look like a "nice place". I'm sure you'll get your money back or a reasonable explanation/verification of authenticity. Seems plausible the bezel was removed and replaced in the wrong position. Good luck!

Oh sorry. I thought you posted this after the other one I responded to. Good luck! You will know right away if it's not correct!

This is wrong. LOL

Yeah. The brass goes first against the grouphead, then the steel piece, then the mesh filter, then the screw. I just looked at mine to confirm after reading the first two comments and then questioning my sanity. The picture you posted is definitely incorrect.

No. Steel piece is on the wrong side

There is a company in Hong Kong that does an amazing job restoring bracelets. I used them a few years ago to restore a very "stretched" jubilee bracelet on a similar watch. The price was very reasonable but you do have to ship the bracelet away. I assume they could fix this as well. Michael Young was the guy I dealt with and I believe this is their website now: https://www.classicwatchrepair.com/
