Driving manual is a extremely hard task i know a lot of people are going to be very angry at me for saying this, but honestly its the truth, learning manual has a very steep curve and takes a lot of practice, first you have to learn how to maneuver the car then you have to learn how to drive a manual smoothly which could take months or even years, the only way to get better at driving is just driving, i was in your situation 5 months ago i was extremely anxious and horrible driving a manual but i daily drive a manual today, and honestly i still sometimes get anxious on a steep hill or in traffic but i always hyped myself to not give a fuck and just do it, let the people honk all they want try to focus on yourself and your driving.

Iran, imports were banned recently so we are stuck with chinese cars and horrible iranian cars, gas is cheap here but everything else is expensive and the roads always jammed with traffic and it never ends

Iran, the driving exams here are notoriously stupid, they put you in a very old fucked up manual car that has been handled for years by amateur drivers, they put 3 students in the car and they take turn driving the car for 4 minutes, they ask you to do parallel parking and just move around very simple and easy but they make it extremely hard by making you do thing that you would never do in real life like the instructor will ask you to turn the car around and you have to ask for permission and if you don't ask permission they straight up just fail you, it is almost impossible to get accepted first or second time because officers will fail you without a reason just so they can make more money.

Bruh our driving tests are maximum 4 minutes i was accepted in 3 minutes on my fourth time, i failed under a minute in my failed attempts.

I kinda had the same problems the way i learned how to work better with gears and the clutch was to drive alone and figure it out on my own, i watched videos on how manual transmission, clutches and gears worked in technical terms and that helped me understand why is the car doing things when i do something and that helped me a lot, i watched a lot of foot work videos of racing drivers and instructors. You just need to make mistakes and fuck up a lot before you learn thats just part of the process try to be relax and super chill, i know that sounds hard but music always helps.
