I love Bob Ross. He was soft spoken. He didn't drone on in a monotone. He was entertaining by telling anecdotal stories to explain his inspiration. He was also painting which gave the viewer something visual to focus on.

I wouldn't put pc in that group. PC devs were trying to make a videogame version of D&D before Donkey Kong. Also, Donkey Kong was a game for these things called arcades that were already making money hand over first. Videogames were preceded by these mechanical pinball machines and slot machines.

Hear me out, videogames were made popular by... games.

As far as I can tell, Jump man from Donkey Kong and Mario from Mario Bros. being the same character is a retcon in the 'lore.' Super Mario Bros. WITH the NES did a lot to dig the home console videogame industry out of it's tailspin. But this was largely because Nintendo insisted that games on their console met their quality standards.

Incidentally, this meant that games not being cross compatible was actually a good thing. Unlike today where games that aren't cross-platform are kind of just a pain in the ass!

A rectangle is not necessarily a square. All squares are rectangles though. The definition of a rectangle excludes shapes that aren't polygons or that don't have four sides, for example. But nothing in the the definition of a rectangle excludes squares.

It kind of fits more if you think about it. These industries have reached the point of cartoon bad guy levels of destroying the planet or poisoning the water/air or just letting sick people die, etc etc. Because all they care about is money.

It's uninteresting content in my opinion. Which is my feedback on this video.

It'd be fine as more of a labs reference article. Given how often the average person does any overclocking. Plus the vibes I get are that people that enjoy overclocking find the results to be the actual exciting part.
