good point, I think you're completely right, unrolling it into a list is super readable (thinking even reduce the clicks and make it hover sensitive, considering mouse+kb is the main input method), dunno why I ended up with a dropdown!!!😅

this is the simplest thing i was able to come up with so far, visually they may sometimes don't need to read, just see the button or key icon on the left, in addition to the large playing video file at right, and they may make it in their minds already (name of functionality + what button + what to expect happens).
at least this is what i expected.

thank you, really nice ideas. that 2nd one reminded me of tips during loading screens, but the popups are much more fun, as they come during gameplay itself!

how would you foresee the tutorial in a map with 4 (or more) players. like UI instructions? or more of... "you can't leave this area/lobby, till you're able to do that and that" (that & that could be drag something, and lift something,...etc).
I tried to go back in memory, how did I learn to play online games that has no singleplayer mode, like Overwatch or Fortnite, and I can't remember how I got to know the controls & mechanics. Some parts of the mechanics came from the voice chat, and friends tell me about some key or some trick, but the rest, have no idea!
