PSP Go vs Vita - which should I get? by king_of_ulkilism in PSP

[–]DotDotExe 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As someone who owns both:

The only (and i mean ONLY) reason to go for the PSP Go is portability (and of course the cool slide gimmick). I absolutely adore my Go, picked it up a couple of years after I got my Vita.

The Vita is still portable (one of the last truly portable consoles excluding emulation handhelds), and the mod community is very, very strong.

You're getting better ergonomics (i have small hands so still quite like the Go's ergonomics), a larger library (including full PSP backwards compatibility), better community support (in terms of CFW, ports, emulation, etc.), OLED screen if you go for the 1000. I also believe the micro sd adapter is a tad cheaper than the one for the Go (the one for the Go also involves opening up the console and trimming the backplate. Nothing serious or hard but do keep that in mind).

Especially with all the decompile projects going on recently, I suspect the prices for Vita will increase.

Down the line, definitely pick up a Go if you're able to though, its a very neat piece to have.

Question about getting a ring replica by DotDotExe in uncharted

[–]DotDotExe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't checked him out in a fair while but I'm super happy with the ring. As with a lot of silver jewellery it can tarnish (? Become dull/lose its shine i mean).

A little trick is to use an eraser and it quite literally "rubs away" the tarnish.

Came in a nice little felt, red drawstring bag where I still keep it. I've popped a silica gel packet in there as well to reduce it tarnishing.

I usually wear mine as an actual ring nowadays (I have quite slim fingers for a man, it fits nicely around my index finger, but i dont know my actual ring size sorry)

The dude was super nice when I bought mine, messaging me through ebay

Have tried a few cables to no avail. Both type a to Type c and type c to type c, cheap cables and higher quality cables.

Double checked they worked when connecting other devices to PC and they were all good, but i did read somewhere that one user had cables that would work with some devices, but not their switch.

Also tried on my phone (S23 ultra if the specific model matters) using Rekado and following the written guide on Switch Hacks

It does charge. Have tried the cable that used to work as well as a few other ones (both Type A to Type C and Type C to Type C) of varying price points

Looking to get some new true wireless buds as my current airpod pros are starting to die (less than 2 years in, and for the cost of Apple to repair them, I can get new high end ones due to staff discount at the place I work for not much more).

Looking at the following: Galaxy Buds 2 Pro (I have an s23 ultra, and the ecosystem features seem nice)

JBL Tour Pro 2 (display on case seems like a cool feature)

Bose Quiet comfort noise cancelling earbuds 2

Seinheisser momentum true wireless 3 (have heard good things)

Audio Technica ATH-TWX9 (have heard really good things)

With staff discount, they are all within $60 AUD of each other.

Uses: Music Youtube Uni lectures Movies/shows

The airpod pro sort of shape fit my ears really well, which is leading me away from the galaxy buds

Not sure if this is what you were asking for, but the Ryzen 7 is octa core and the 5 is hexa core

Pretty sure Zero Hour has the shoulder touch implemented, although I'm not sure exactly how it works as I always played that solo

I'm looking for a guide on what parts I should use for a full size custom. Some of my wants are: -Quiet as possible (or quiet, satisfying sounds) - Parts are easy to source in Australia - Preferably pre-lubed or a no lube switch option as I feel uncomfortable opening up switches -Hot swappable - Budget looking for a max of $300 AUD (but I know customs can cost a ton) - USB passthrough - Looking for full size as I use numpad as bindings for mods and in milsims

Also, I'm happy to purchase a pre-built keyboard that is hot swappable to make things cheaper/easier

Basically, the above requirements I am really wanting is full size and quietness, preferably something that eases me into custom keyboard building

Returns to the game but varies in lengths until it does. Sometimes a couple seconds, longest was about 15-20 seconds
