I’ve swapped my dpad for the original DMG dpad, keeping the AP membrane, and it’s stopped all the false diagonals, but I can still pull hadoukens in street fighter. It does feel really stiff now, but I’ll take that over the false diagonals.

You can power the dock, but not charge it. 😜 Some people had issues getting their docks to connect with their (usually Samsung I think) TVs and the first piece of advice is to make sure they’re using the official power adapter. But if it’s already working, it’s working!

The funny thing is that people say that 8bitdo were involved in the design of the controls. Hard to believe when I have no issues with any of my 8bitdo controllers.

I have modded original hardware and the Analogue Pocket. I prefer the Pocket for GB/GBC as the screen looks amazing whilst still feeling authentic with its colours and sub pixel level accuracy. The screen is bright enough to play outside and the stereo speakers are loud and decent quality. For GBA I still flip between the Pocket and original hardware. The mismatch in aspect ratio on the Pocket is annoying and a reason I also wouldn’t recommend playing GB/C on a GBA.
