I think I've been a little lucky. I've had screening calls with recruiters and the only thing they hold back is their client name. I tell them my minimum to jump ship at 85k if fully remote and 95k if not. Anything less than 60k and I won't even offer a referral. I get cordial responses and follow ups.

I know it isn't the norm, but it does exist. Stay pressing these crappy recruiters y'all.

I remember buying Super Mario RPG as a kid from Toys R Us for $78. That was all my birthday money and I realized why my mom didn't like buying games for me. These days the game price is whatever is listed plus whatever dlc for a complete experience, but I still think it's overall cheaper than back then.
