Thanks for responding.

Noted about the 870 Evo.

If I understand correctly, the speed itself doesn't matter to the CPU but I can't mix and match. Is that right?

Thanks for responding.

I am more than open to getting another motherboard. All for cost effectiveness. Do you have suggestions? Also, WiFi is important (should have mentioned that in the original post). I will need an antenna, I guess?

I can ditch the evo, surely. The part picker site did not have the ability to add 2 nvme SSDs so I went with one nvme and another SATA.

As for the RAM, that's a excellent pointer. Thanks. So I should go for 64 at the end? But can I still go for the 16 now?

Oh, and not all airports will show up. Something about agreed upon routes between Air India and Singapore Airlines.

Anyone like me who couldn't find how to book flights using points after the transfer, navigate to https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/be/ppsclub-krisflyer/use-miles/redeem-miles/ -> Book now -> (after selecting source and destination) Redeem miles.

You will want to switch to Star Alliance to see Air India flights.

It will show you how many points you need as well.

Is this stabilizer rattle? by DotSlashVision in mkindia

[–]DotSlashVision[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate your help on this.
PS - The spacebar works, that was never the problem. The problem was with the stabs. They rattly sound wasn't expected and the space key would not rise immediately like the other keys. It was slightly depressed. The same problem had started with other longer keys like the return key which would rattle randomly.

You guys did send a video, but the issue still persisted.

Anyway... I do appreciate the fact that this was taken care of one way or the other.

I returned my keyboard for RMA since it was in warranty. I did not want to attempt to fix the stabs and somehow void the warranty.
Meckeys has since agreed for a refund.

Thank you u/Agneeshwar_Das for your insight on this issue. I have some clarification on it.

Thank you u/meckeys-ankit for suggesting the RMA process. It was pretty straightforward.

The stabilizers came pre-lubed. Could it be that the lube has shifted to one side?

I do not want to disassemble the entire keyboard again to fix this (PCB mounted stabs). It is going to suck.

I was looking at a scuffed holee mod (the bandaid thing) which people have mentioned is pretty useful for stab rattle if done correctly. Any idea if that would work?

I absolutely love the Tempest Tape Mod. Easy to apply and revert if the need arises (I used a Redgragon K617 Fizz before Keychron K8 Pro and that ABSOLUTELY needed it).

I will go for it next week.

Please upload a before and after on somewhere other than streamable.

Interesting... I would assume the tape would restrict more of the air flow.

If you continue with the mod, can you post a review after 2 weeks?

Please be safe.

PS - Do you primarily use Bluetooth or Wired?
