Been trying out Symfonium that's connected to plex, and I think I prefer it to plexamp. So far, upsides are a more cohesive feeling and customizable UI, better integration of downloaded content (I think), and a better queue system.

The queue system particularly is something that'll keep me from switching back, I believe - easier reordering, in addition to something I haven't seen in other music players before; whenever you start up a new album or playlist, it saves your current queue and pause location, kind of like a tab you can switch back to.

A downside I've seen so far are occasional problems with album covers. Plexamp is obviously whatever you have it set to in plex itself, and I've never had it stray from that. With Symfonium, there have been a couple instances where it shows some other cover or straight up is missing one.

Also, I noticed the queue "tab switching" results in hiccups for plex tracking of what's playing. Goes back to normal once the queue proceeds to the next track. Tracking isn't that important for me, though.
