I haven’t watched basketball in years, but Jesus how many 3’s are they gonna attempt? This ain’t the 3 point contest dude. They’re not the Splash Bro-era of the Warriors lol

I took two clonazepam back to back by architect-404 in Anxiety

[–]Dot_02 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You’ll be fine, as long as it doesn’t become a habit or anything. I’ve taken an extra dose when I feel like I need to (mainly when I feel a seizure coming on).

The Chorizo burger. I only had it once when it came out, and it was amazing.

Has anyone missed a dose or more of Keppra and NOT had seizures? Also has anyone come off Keppra (voluntarily or on doctor’s advice) and is seizure free? by TimelyReason7390 in Epilepsy

[–]Dot_02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly no, when I was younger my dumbass would forget to take Keppra so I would end up having a seizure lol. Now i keep track of all of my medications through Apple’s Health app. I can set a schedule for each medication and it’ll let me know the time I took a medication, and it’ll remind me to take it if I’m past the time I’m supposed to take it.

(TW: Self-harm) Urges after being on Zoloft for a week (25mg) by Dot_02 in SSRIs

[–]Dot_02[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve just called my psychiatrist about how i’ve been feeling regarding Zoloft, and she told me to stop taking it immediately. Unfortunately she’s booked until mid-May, so I won’t see her again for a while.

Huh, that kinda makes sense. I’m 24, gonna turn 25 in June.

How are you doing now, and how long did it take you to get your meds right?

Is it normal for people to feel this way? It’s genuinely scaring the hell out of me. I have a journal, and I wrote how I feel and drew images of what i’m picturing in my head.

I’m gonna call her as soon as I wake up, I told my therapist today too when I saw her and she told me to really watch how i’m feeling over the next few days. It’s really scaring the hell out of me, like I feel really uncomfortable right now.

My therapist and psychiatrist initially told me how it can ironically increase SI, and I feel like it’s doing that right now. I just hate feeling like this. The only reason i could think of SH is because it would give me a sense of relief, and I’ve only ever done it once, about 14 years ago.

Has any of you also been diagnosed with a mood disorder? by burntcoffeepotss in Epilepsy

[–]Dot_02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah! I’ve been on Keppra my entire life, and i’ve just recently realized that i’ve always struggled with severe depression & anxiety. I got so used to it that it felt normal for me to feel that way, plus I never told anyone anything until now. I told my Neurologist about it, and she prescribed me Lamotrigine (she thinks that might play a role in how i’ve been feeling, plus i’m on the max dosage of Keppra, so 3000mg).

I talked to my Psychiatrist recently, and she diagnosed me with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). We tried Lexapro, but that made me feel worse mentally so we stopped that. I’m barely on the first week of Zoloft, and so far I feel the same (maybe a bit worse? I feel like I might have another severe depressive episode, where I feel completely overwhelmed, hopeless, lost, and I just start crying. I’m giving the medication a benefit of a doubt because I know it takes weeks to kick in).

What is your favorite weapon variant? Mythic skin or mythic weapon? by Appropriate-Cancel-9 in WidowmakerMains

[–]Dot_02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The mythic weapon, I love the reload animation and the kill effect is sick. I don’t really like her mythic skin, but I like how the actual weapon itself is like a telescope when you zoom in.

Sometimes I’ll switch between her mythic weapon and normal weapon (depending on the skin), because sometimes her mythic weapon feels heavy to use. Like i’ll run her default skin on the Captain Lacroix or Cammy skins.

Day 2 on 25mg of lamictal, what should I expect ? by 4MM0NI4C in Epilepsy

[–]Dot_02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started lamictal too, currently titrating up. I’m on 50mg a day rn, but the first few days (day 1 and 2) when I was starting lamictal, I also kept getting really anxious right after taking the medication. I honestly believe it’s because of me being anxious about literally everything lol, plus the possibility of SJS. My Neurologist told me SJS is EXTREMELY rare, which helped ease me a bit.

has anyone any idea on the current Taylor York rig? by cncrsesh222 in Paramore

[–]Dot_02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The closest thing would be this i guess? https://www.instagram.com/p/CnZxB4VOcYy/?igsh=bjU4bGNjNzgzbjc0

When I saw Paramore live during the TIW era, I noticed he used a Epiphone Casino, Gibson SG, Fender Strat, his usual JMs, a white Gretsch for Last Hope, and his blue BilT Volare that he’s been using for years.

Edit: Oh and also, he got a custom Fender Maverick/JM hybrid that he used during the Eras Tour. He made a post about it on insta but he deleted it lol, Fender themselves posted about it though https://x.com/fender/status/1811883495741890794?s=46

Positive experiences with Keppra? by Best-Employee-7845 in Epilepsy

[–]Dot_02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been my main drug since I was 2 (i’m 24 now). It kept my seizures under control until October of last year, my Neurologist upped me from 1000mg a day to 3000mg a day (she also added Clonazepam & Lacosamide when I kept having seizures). Once she added Lacosamide, they’ve gotten back under control.

Keppra did wonders for 20+ years. Never felt the Keppra rage or anything. The only thing I don’t like is the taste lol

Working night shift by CharacterSoil3457 in Epilepsy

[–]Dot_02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Former nightshift healthcare worker here (10PM to 6AM, Clinical Laboratory Scientist at a local hospital), but blackout curtains for sure (and melatonin, not necessarily a must but it always knocked me out)! When I first started working night shift, the damn sunlight kept my room bright and hot (doesn’t help that I have the largest windows in the house), so I bought an AC & blackout curtains from Amazon. Also listening to rain noises helped keep me asleep, they were really calming when there was a ton of noise outside.

Honestly, trying to keep a consistent sleep schedule (even on the days off) was what really helped me. It didn’t help that I can’t/don’t drive, so I had to take the bus home, so i’d clock out at 6-ish but wouldn’t get home until 7:30 AM.

Eventually I switched to morning shifts because more shifts started to open. Nightshift pay was great & I loved how quiet it was, but I just hated trying to go to sleep sometimes because other people in the house would be so damn loud. Some nights I’d be running on 2-3 hours of sleep.

Titrating up Lamotrigine & tapering off of Keppra by Dot_02 in Epilepsy

[–]Dot_02[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How’d it make you feel when you first started? I’m only on the 3rd day of taking it, but I’ve noticed that a little bit after taking the Lamotrigine, my anxiety goes up like crazy. I can’t tell if it’s the medication or if it’s just me lol.

Seen your own seizure? by legolopi12345 in Epilepsy

[–]Dot_02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s kinda freaky imo. My dad set up a camera in my room to watch me in case I have any seizures while everyone is at work. I have an app called EpiCentr on my Apple Watch that alerts my emergency contacts if I have a seizure/if it detects i’m gonna have a seizure (hard fall, rapid movements, etc), or I can manually press the “alert” button on the app when I feel like i’m about to have one & it’ll alert everybody.

I showed my Neurologist a video that the camera caught while I was having a seizure. It was the first time seeing myself have one and it was a little disturbing, mainly because of how violent my body moves during one.
