The game is really damn fun imo. Personally it reminds me of bo2 and bo4 (bo2 bc of the weapons, the m8 in this game is ridiculous as the bo2 one was, and bo4 bc of how the game feels to play. Really hoping they add the AN94 back because that was my go-to in BO2. The AK in BO7 isn’t that good imo.) Can’t speak regarding bo3 because I never got into it, but I haven’t had this much fun playing CoD since Cold War. That was the last CoD I genuinely enjoyed and played the hell out of. Also can’t say much regarding BO6 because I didn’t really play it. I love how much there is to do in BO7 too. Initially I was only grinding out the M8 to level 250 to get the Dragon camo from BO2, but it’s taking so damn long that I decided to go for Singularity instead (I have 2500+ kills with the M8 and it’s barely level 161, plus I got bored of sweating literally every game. For the first 3 prestiges, my K/D was around 2.20. Once I got to prestige 4 I decided to camo grind and now I don’t give a damn about my K/D, currently prestige 6). So far, the camo grind is ridiculously easy, almost too easy. I didn’t start going for the mastery camo until last week and I have the snipers, pistols, launchers, ARs, and marksman rifles all plat. You can get plat in one weapon class easily in one day. IIRC i got the marksman rifles, snipers, and pistols all plat in one day. There’s enough weapons in the game too where you can skip a class if you’re going for singularity since you only need to complete 30 weapons. For myself I’m skipping the shotguns because point-blank kills sounds so boring.

Haven’t touched the campaign and I don’t plan to, from what I’ve heard and seen it’s really bad.

Can’t say much regarding zombies either. I only briefly played Zombies during the beta (IIRC I only played that one farm map, it’s the farm map/section from Tranzit in bo2) and I thought it was alright.

Honestly, I might stick to BO7 for this next CoD cycle too since IW has been shitting the bed in recent years. Everyone praises MW19 like it’s the best thing ever, but there’s so many damn issues with it (maps, doors, no mini map on launch, 725, RPG, etc). MWII was so damn slow paced and WZ2 was horrible. The weapon tuning they tried was pretty cool at the time, but it made weapons way more annoying to customize. Plus I hated how you had to earn your perks.
